you can do much much better with that budget. the msi pro-m2 is a bad motehrboard that can't support a 3600. the 1050ti is a low end gpu, not suitable for high fps gaming.

They're identical in terms of latency, though for Ryzen I'd take the 3200MHz over 3000MHz.

    I got about same performance with a i9 9900k.
It is at 5ghz all cores and idles in the low 30s with a Noctua NH-D15. Its performance in games is almost the same as the i7 8086k but it has a slower 2080 ti so it does not win.
It has 32gbs ram along with one of my i7 8086k but no games I have use it. If I bought ram today I would go with 16 but get something quicker that 3200.

I am looking into getting an i9 10900k. So far it does not look good. In game benches even with it overclocked the performance depends on the 2080 it used. I use an EVGA FTW3 Ulta and if the i9 is tested with less I get better frames. I have to see a lot more Youtube benches before I decide.

I will be looking a the next gen Ryzen but it has to perform in games better than an i9 10900k.

There is not much of a performance gain going past 5ghz but you can always test it yourself.

I run one of my i7 8086k at 5.1ghz and the other a 5ghz. The difference is zero performance gain. I leave it on because it creates no more heat than 5ghz and maybe one day something will actually run faster with it on.

It is about the same with 5.2 but that puts idles in the high 30s.
According to Gamers Nexus my next performance plato is at 5.35ghz and that is beyond my cooling solution.

Thermal pad sounds like the issue.  Take it off, clean the block and CPU lid and use some good thermal paste like Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut...

I personally dislike gaming headsets (focus on aesthetics and unecessary features instead of good audio quality or comfort) but if I had recommend one it would be the HS60 Pro.

I have a Aquacomuter Cuplex Kryos NEXT CPU block with Vision...  I might take the plunge and purchase their controller block and software...  I will look at the Corsair though, thanks for the recommendation.

This is the one I just built with...  Very happy with it.  Linus did a review on it and it went up in price!  Got mine at $159 US...  $248 on Amazon right now.  https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MTMCNLX?tag=pcpapi-20&linkCode=ogi&th=1&psc=1

I did it with a very old Dell PC and a Zalman Reserator and it worked fine.  That was a long time ago and with slow processors.  I tried on a SFF (Shuttle PC) and had to make an acrylic shroud and add a fan at the top.  I suppose you could daisy chain a bunch together and see what happens...  There are two Reserators 1 & 2, 2 is no longer on their website you will have to Google it.  https://www.zalman.com/US/Product/ProductList.do?searchCategory1=4&searchCategory2=49

If you can return the 2070S, and you don't stream, I would reccomened you do it as the 5700xt red devil ( or any other 5700xt with decent dual or tri fan cooling) has the same gaming performance- at $100USD cheaper. The m.2 would hardly make a difference over the 860, even though the 860 is a fairly mediocore ssd in terms of speed.

You can use PCPartPicker to see if parts are compatible, including if a cooler height will be incompatible with a chassis.
