Low profile RAM selection

rk2.

Budget (including currency): $75-$110

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: mix of dev and gaming (mostly no AAA titles)

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

I recently built a system -

MSI MAG x570 TOMAWIFI

Ryzen 3700x

RTX 2070 Super

Noctua NH-D15

Fractal Meshify C

G.Skill RipJaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 3600 CL16-19-19-39

I noticed that I had to push the intake fan on the Noctua to essentially touch the shield of the RAM and even then the glass cover of the case was pressing against the Noctua fan.

I am hoping to replace the RipJaws with some low profile alternatives and was hoping to get some advice on that.

Based on some searching I have narrowed the options down to:

1. TEAMGROUP T-Force Vulcan Z DDR4 16GB Kit (2 x 8GB) 3200MHz (PC4 25600) CL16

2. Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3200MHz C16

3. Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 X 8GB) DDR4 3600MHz (PC4-28800) C18

4. Crucial Ballstix 16GB (2 X 8GB) DDR4 3600MHz CL16

Additionally, I noticed Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (2x16GB) 3200MHz C16 DDR4 was priced at $125 and was wondering whether than makes sense as a good option to spend $15-25 to double the capacity.

Which option makes sense in this situation?

AMD loves RAM...  I am running the Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB 2x8 DDR4 3200 and have no problems with it hitting the clocks with XMP enabled.  MSI MPG Z390 Gaming Edge AC MoBo...

Thank you for the responses.

I am curious as to how big of a difference cl16 3600 vs cl16 3200 have on performance in my setup. Given that 16gb options are readily available in cl16 3600 and the cheap 32gb one is only cl16 3200.

I would go with the 32gb cl16 3200  Plenty for anything you want to do and more...
