Best Budget Gaming Monitor

I'm looking for a monitor for my new desktop I'm buying. So far I've just been using a 55 inch 4k tv over HDMI at 30hz but now that I'm buying a new desktop I want to get an actual gaming monitor to use display port with and increase my refresh rate. I'm a student and on a budget, what's the best for cheap?

I was in a similar situation, but I had been using a 43" 1080p TV that was wall mounted above my PC monitors (old samsung monitors from 2010). I got tired of breaking my neck to play video games so I decided to expand from 2 to 3 monitors.
I just picked up an LG 27" from Costco for $250 usd.
It's only 1080p but it is 144hz, and I know it's not the best out there but it fit my budget and it sure looks better than what I had before.

This is the one I just built with...  Very happy with it.  Linus did a review on it and it went up in price!  Got mine at $159 US...  $248 on Amazon right now.  https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MTMCNLX?tag=pcpapi-20&linkCode=ogi&th=1&psc=1

Hey all,

Price drop! $189.51 on Amazon for the 144Hz!  I'm grabbing another one!
