As the old saying goes, it’s about the journey, not the destination.

Even if you didn’t get to play the game at its peak, it gave you a goal to aim and which took you a long way and likely set you up well for the next big release you’re excited about, so you can play with everyone.

Now it sounds like you’re taking positive steps again by looking for ways to earn more money. Make sure you’re never going into debt for a computer part or a video game, so looking to earn now before something  else comes along is good.

Waiting 8 years starting from 10 is a long time, almost half your life. Even if the online community was still thriving, it’s really difficult for anything to live up to what it becomes inside a persons head. It may be good it played out like this, as the game itself can still have that halo effect around it, as it was a timing issue rather than it not being good.

I think a lot of people have a story like this. Even before online games, sometimes a kid just didn’t have access to the cartridge, or wasn’t aware of how popular a game really was until later.  There were games on the NES that are classics, and I didn’t have them when they were popular, and going back and trying to do it now on an emulator just isn’t the same. I have nostalgia for experiences I never had and can’t recapture. GW2 sounds like a similar story for you.  It took me until I was 40, but Tears of the Kingdom let me finally live that moment where I was in the right place at the right time with the right release just around the corner, and a huge community who couldn’t wait to play. I never thought I’d have that feeling again at my age, but it happened. I’m sure you’ll get many more shots.

I get your point, I don't think workplace is an appropriate place to wear fragrances anyways like you guys were talking about, but for some special event or even going to a date, it's useful.

Also it matters from culture to culture, work culture and other things differ from places to places, if you work in a place where your other colleagues wear hoodie and t-shirts to work it makes no sense to dress up in suits but if you work somewhere where people work on suits and wearing fragrances then you feel out of place

And one more thing is the way some people apply it too, which they over do it.

Surely you can use your [android] phone. People keep them on 24/7.

Install https://termux.dev/en/ and then python 3 and you are good to go. Don't forget to set wakelock to prevent the operating system from sleeping, killing, and freezing your python script

    Rent a cheap VPS (~1$ a month):

Or dick around with "free" hosting services, which will without a doubt at some point cease being free or severily cripple the service.

Not really. I mean everyone around the world can blindly hit apply on LinkedIn but companies will only hire locally most of the time. In fact, 80%+ of the resumes and job applications get filter out precisely because the candidates are overseas/international, most of who are from India strangely enough.

I was referring to the mentioned freelance stuff like fiverr. You're in competition with people who have experience and work for almost nothing, so getting in there before you have the skills you're not going to get much.

This isn't Assassin's Creed, this isn't ubisoft, this is grand theft auto, one of the biggest media franchise ever this is Rockstar games' bread and butter, people who don't even play video games on a regular basis are into GTA too. It's defined created a genre of games, it can't be a copy paste of 5 with a different coat of paint, it'll be significantly improved as seen in the leaks, whatever it becomes it'll be the biggest thing in gaming, it'll be either a big hit or a big flop, they won't mess this up

Personal projects so that you can build a portfolio of work to show potential clients. It's lightyears easier to get jobs if you have something to show the clients.

I pray to not see such dystopian fantasies turn into a reality, cyberpunk was different, I honestly believe the anime kinda saved the game from going extinct while the devs fixed the bug, and it was something too ambitious and different from everything cdpr did before, GTA 6? c'mon they've done it once in 2001 then did it back to back 3 more times in between each time doing something revolutionary and ground breaking and then finally they did it once in 2013,
    2013-2001=12=2025-2013

The hype around the game is already bigger than whatever cp2077 or silk song had, this is the greatest franchise in video games (apart from Nintendo IPs) this has to work, Rockstar games have currently ruined their reputation by suing modders and the defecative editions, this is the only thing that'll save em so if they mess up, they'll reputation will go poof, but I'm hopeful they'll change things, I myself have been trying to save up for a PS5 so I can play the game on launch day

I think they should take their time, I recently played GTA 3 and then GTA 5 back to back and the difference in release date between those 2 games are almost same as gta 5 and 6, making an actual working game is big deal for studios now but it's better if they actually take their time to do so rather than rushing it out, it's not exaggerating to say messing this up will forever kill Rockstar's legacy, and whatever they make must change videogames forever again like GTA 3 did when it came and like GTA 5 did when it came out

I heard quite a few people actually picked up the old xbox when the 360 was soon to be released, just to play the gta trilogy as the console was getting cheaper, this could've added some numbers to it's sales which was higher than the gamecube

You can, it'll format them to UDF, on which you can then drag and drop files as you wish. On a CD-R obviously deleting a file will not reclaim the space, but you can.

So I was watching the latest game theory video, it was about introducing babies and non gamers ("If you've even played sudoku on your phone, you're a gamer"- PewDiePie) to video games, I decided to watch it and was watching cuz it's entertaining and last of the game theories from matpat, but I suddenly realised, I've never played a game with a controller, I have never owned a console, I grew up playing games on my PC and phone, most were Single Player games from early 2000s and the only multiplayers I played were shooters and strategy games, did i miss out on too much? Also should I get a cheap controller as my first controller to try out what i missed out on

I dare to say that a 3050/3060 mobile won't give you a good experience for GTA 6 whenever it actually gets released for PC, so buying a laptop for this reason is kinda moot.
