Well this one is going to get me a lot of hate, but so be it.
Ryzen is shit. It's not the shit as most people say it is. It's just shit.
Why do I say this? Well very simple, let's be brutally honest here the only reason Ryzen is good is because Intel slept at the wheel for the last 10 years or so. If Intel would've giving us more cores and faster cores these past years then when Ryzen would've been launched, no one would even look at AMD. We would all laugh at them.
Ryzen is only viewed as good because Intel did nothing. Something that would've happened the other way around as well, if AMD was in Intel's position. AMD would've slept at the wheel as well if they had the chance.
So yeah in reality land Ryzen is not this magnificent thing that everyone says it is.
Obviously it's well welcomed and it needed to exist because Intel would've giving us 4 cores until 2030 without a doubt or even later. But let's not pretend it's truly amazing.
Can you imagine 4 cores in 2070? That would've been Intel's plan for sure. Or maybe 4 cores in the year 3000. Wouldn't be surprised at all.

I would respectfully disagree, what I was referring to was my bodies white cell's ability to produce those antibodies when it comes in contact with a foreign pathogen, adapt and neutralize it before my body is adversely affected. Since this started I have never worn a glove, a mask , or used hand sanitizer once. Not so much as the sniffles, matter of fact I've gotten healthier over this time. As for the mass infections at religious gatherings, this I am unaware of, It was my understanding that churches where some of the 1st institutions classified as non-essential and shut down at least around where I live.

I will never ever buy a phone or any device that doesnt have a headphone jack. USB C headphones and earbuds are not a replacement,
They will keep making shitty thin and light phones and laptops with only USB C and thunderbolt that have 30 minutes of battery life. And I will sit here with my lineage OS Moto G7 Power that lasts 3 days, and my gen 1 i5 laptop that has firewire and a modded battery, and laugh at people wasting their money on locked down, less robust garbage.

Edit: My wording here was a bit strong, I dont actually care if you buy newer hardware, whatever makes you happy.

Always been tempted to buy a solution like this for my ref RTX 2060 Super (Thanks Nvidia for the 41% fan speed lock) but hate the fact I can't plug the fans into the GPU fan header..

For this forum post I took the German Computerbase article linked below in the sources and put my own spin on it.
It's not a 1:1 translation and instead I added a few things and left out a few things that didn't seem important.
But I put a few quotes in there, just to adhere to the rules. 😛

Noctua, the company best known for its brown computer fans and expensive CPU coolers, released a new roadmap of products for 2020 and 2021.
Some much anticipated products have finally a release date.

This year in Q3 we will see black versions of the NH-D15S and NH-U9S. The NH-D15S is simply a NH-D15 with a single fan instead of two, so no suprises there, because the NH-D15 is already available in black.
The NH-U9S is Noctuas small-ish tower cooler, that comes with a 90mm fan.

    NH-U9S:

Another much anticipated product is a black version of Noctuas best fan: The NH-A12.
According to Noctua's roadmap it should be released in Q1 of 2021. This is rather special, as Noctua have previously stated that because of the low tolerances and special material, it would be hard to create an all black NF-A12.

One product that Noctua has already shown off at Computex 2019 as a prototype, was a massive CPU heatsink designed to cool CPUs of up to 120w TDP passively.
With the help of some airflow provided by case fans, it could bump that up to 180w. (As seen on the picture below).

One more interesting product is an all new NH-D15 to replace the old one.
The NH-D15 is one of the most expensive, but also one of the best performing CPU air coolers on the market. It's praised for its excellent mounting system and quietness, even under heavy load.
The new version will have 7 heatpipes instead of 6 heatpipes according to ComputerBase's article.

I know I have to add my own opinion to this, but srsly, what is there left to say?
This is great. So many products that people have been waiting for and finally we got some release dates.
I just hope that they aren't overpriced. I'm very interested in the passive CPU cooler.

You're wrong, if this was him just being wrong he would've mentioned it on WAN Show and be done with it. There was no need to make a 12 minute professional video talking about how much he misunderstood what was going on and apologizing to another company.
It would've been a footnote on the WAN Show, something like this:
Linus: Hey Luke, I've finally had time to watch Mark's video about the fastest SSD in the world that's in the PS5. It's not quite what I was led to believe.
    Luke: Oh Ok. Whatever.
Linus: Speaking of whatever, our sponsors Private Internet Access and LTTstore dot com. XD
All of this while Luke laughs in the background. And then it would've been forgotten and never mentioned again. Because it doesn't matter and no one cares.

I've watched that video when it came out and after watching it this is what I thought:
And here's the thing, nobody cares what this means from the game developers perspective. They are not in charge. Their bosses are and their bosses are and so on. It doesn't matter how cool the tech is when you can't implement it because you're on a dead line and you have to get the game out by x date because that's what the people above you told you. Do you think game developers who work for their paycheck will spend hours, day, week, months to use a new way of doing things and learning how to do it when they are on a dead line when they can just use the old way which they know and it's easier for them? Plus they are not the ones that decide what method they will use. So the perspective of the game developer means nothing since they are not the ones dictating how things go. They are payed to do a job and if they don't do the way their bosses want it, they get fired.

Yeah it's a cool tech.... when it's going to be used and implemented in everything. Right now it's just marketing and it will remain like that for years. Just like all the other cool tech and ways of doing things.

TheNamelessOne got a reaction from GDRRiley in I’ve Disappointed and Embarrassed Myself.
Someone already said this, but the only time a company makes a public apology to other company is when they are being sued or warned that they will get sued if they don't retract what they said. That's what happened here Epic/Sony/Both sent LTT a letter telling them they will get their asses sued into oblivion if they don't rectify what they said.
And anyone who can't see that or denies that is a fool and doesn't know how things work.
As for the PS5 SSD ...yeah it doesn't really matter since only the first party games so the ones directly from Sony will use it if they even use it so that's like 3 games and only 1 game will properly use it and people won't even be able to tell something's different. All other game developers won't even touch it since they want to make sure their games work on all platforms the same and spending money and time just for the PS is not something they will do, not only that but no matter what voodoo magic Sony claims they've discovered with their controller, it's still way too slow compared to DRAM.

All this bullshit of revolutionary SSD is nothing more than marketing made for dumb people to buy it because it's NEW and exciting and you don't have it. They should've added more RAM instead of spending who knows how many millions of dollars in developing a unless feature that's going to fade away and ignored.

I never watched the Cerny video, and I don't care to. I've been in this industry long enough to know that every big reveal about a "revolution" in computing has been lukewarm single-digit% improvements (yes, even Zen generations are just single digit improvements over each other, it just so happens those 5 - 8% improvements are more exciting than Intel's 1 - 2%). It will most likely be just all hype. Everyone knows that the sheer majority of games published are multiplatform titles that the industry wants to shove out the door rather than taking care to optimize them. Very rarely are console games even hitting 60FPS, and almost always it's targeting 30FPS. And given that PS5/Xbox/PC are practically all running x86 architecure Zen chips, who's really that optimistic that EA, Ubisoft, or any of the """AAA""" game companies will even bother optimizing for PS5's "special" SSD anyways? And even when they do, will we even see double-digit improvements? Or, more likely, will it just be the same single digit % improvements...?

And even if I were wrong on this (once special PS5 exclusive games are launched 2 - 3 years from now that can take advantage of the special SSD) would I even waste my breath making any kind of dumb apology to a faceless multi-billionaire corporation? Why would they care? They could cry their eyes out and dry their tears on $1000 bills and still be so wealthy and successful that it wouldn't matter.

To clarify, the only time I see <business A> apologize publically to <business b> is because they're trying to settle out of court. Hence, I'm cautiously suspicious this video wasn't out of earnest redemption to make up for anything to Tim Sweeney, because why would Linus Media Group (the company, not the individual Linus Sebastian) care about Epic Games (the company, not the individual Tim Sweeney), unless Epic Games is threatening legal action of some sort.
