This really irritates me

Smackaroy

That metal bar going though the middle of the fan is really annoying. I'm also a little worried that it hurts airflow but I doubt it does in even if it does not anything I will notice but it still annoys me.

Ok, what is the question? Are you worried about airflow? just cut them if it does not remove needed support.

Something that minor won't affect airflow. And it's not something you're going to notice once you get the front panel back on.

I would not worry about it, there is not enough there to negatively impact the fans performance. If you hear whistling then you can trim it back but the blockage is negligible. if it was mine I would trim it anyhow just because of how it looks, but once you put the cover on you wont see it anyhow.

Manufacturers do everything to save from the total cost. If that metal piece is there, its probably to stop flexing of the whole chassis. Air is a liquid like water. Just like how that block of metal won't stop water flow, it won't stop air.

I mean, I have a filter in front of mine. What should I do then? Lol

I think it's there because at stock there are 120mm fans and there metal bar whould not cover the fans because of the smaller size. But it could also be that

I hated the stock nzxt case they have no anti vibration pad so they vibrated alot also I got unlucky with one of them because it sounded like it was hitting something that was way more annoying them a slightly annoying cosmetic thing that I don't even see with the panel on

-> Moved to Air Cooling

***

You could move both fans up a bit to make it align better. As for cooler performance, there's nothing really going on.

Those bars don't really hurt airflow, but they do increase fan noise, especially when fan runs higher than 1100~1200 rpm.

This was one of the reasons that I sold my Meshify C.
