Seems like an appropriate response to AMD being shitheads about pricing for Vega, but I wouldn't go as far as to outright not recommending Radeon. If the performance or price is right, it's still an option that should be considered.

Semi agreed, I mean I can see Googles POV here, they don't wanna be the hosts of this website (which is fine) but then again if these guys didn't violate any TaCs then do they really deserve this?

Yes, Nazi's are bad, so are communists, and any other extremist ideology. Hate breeds hate. Sadly I don't know what can be done to try and reverse the damage that has been done over the last 20 years.

That's key here: Suppose you're right and maybe their gains are even better than what you are expecting. Let's suppose they manage to come within spitting distance of the 1080ti or match it on AMD friendly games.
 
Then Nvidia just releases Volta. In my opinion that is what's killing them in the GPU market right now: timing. They're so unbeliveably late with Vega it will be basically a wasted effort, a lost GPU generation and considering how lukewarm was Fiji I think they might not be able to recover in terms of the high end market.
 
Honestly we might see them devote themselves completely to the midrange in the future. Enough to keep them on the fight to sell the console chips and APUs for Ryzen.

Yes, it's news, just because you're not invested in the game doesn't negate that fact. Not sure why your Google skills are so weak but the first 5 results are all Cloud Imperium Games for me. 

I think it's a pretty thin straw to argue that people don't know what star citizen is or what foundry 42 is, or even cloud emporium.   Especially when their is enough information in the OP to work it out even if you didn't.

Look at Fiji (Fury) cards. Look at how delayed Vega is. And for what? With GDDR5x and GDDR6, the bandwidth is good enough. Now I do think HBM is a great thing, but AMD should have gone the Volta pro route, and only had them on Pro cards. The demand is not as high there, which coincides better with supply, and the sometimes limited capacity (4GB on Fury).
 
I love that AMD is pushing forward and innovating, but they are not cashing in on all the hard work. They are just suffering all the initial problems with nothing to show for it.

Remember my question on the other thread: Why is it a Z270 motherboard ok if running on a 6700 but a Z170 board not ok if running a 7700?
 
Both those combinations are possible (with proper bios updates) and if you ask anyone who's not massively biased in favor of Microsoft they'll conclude is actually more difficult for them to support Z270, B250, H270, etc. On Windows 7 and 8 since it involves a hell of a lot more than just the processor and has to support all of those different drivers for the mobo and all the bundled components.
 
This is simple an anti consumer move and one that should net them a class action lawsuit, too bad the last part will probably never happen though.

After SimCity, Battlefront, Andromeda (which wasn't all that bad but still not as good as the first Mass Effect's), Plants vs Zombies 2, and both Garden Warfare games, Dragon Age 2, and their failure to return to the point of Dragon Age in Inquisition, I'm going to keep my expectations below zero and still probably be disappointed
