I checked out my google account data thing a while back and found audio recordings from trying to train Google Assistant when I was like 12 and some of the stuff I posted on Google Plus way back then.

Adorable Cat got a reaction from Bites za dust in I need to know if my psu will work fine with rx 560
An RX 560 consumes so little power that I doubt your PSU will struggle to keep up with it, even if it's a cheap offbrand one.

What's more concerning to me is that, considering how tight of a budget your PC looks like it's on if your PSU did have a problem and break other components you'd have a difficult time buying replacement parts.

Adorable Cat got a reaction from Origami Cactus in Good program to test "color accuracy" of photos?
You could use just a normal image editor like GIMP and use the color picker tool, pick a spot and look at the exact color values with both images.

ofc all this is also at the mercy of how good of a camera you're taking the pictures with in the first place

I'm excited to see the result! one problem I can see you having is not enough room for an ATX power supply so you'll have to buy an ITX one and even then you may have to make some modifications to get it in.

You'll also probably have to use a PCIE riser cable to get a 2070S inside, and it'll have to be sideways because I don't see how it could stand upright in that case.

This is my Tandy TRS 80 model 1, I'm fairly certain it works but the power supply (a separate unit) is broken

100 Gigabits, or 12.5 Gigabytes per second.

Upwards of 100c? Holy hell., Is it properly installed? It shouldn't get past 95c with a stock cooler unless it has an oc on it. The h60 sucks, you wont get much if any extra performance out of it.

Gbps is Gigabits per second... not Gigabytes... 2 completely different standards. 8 bits = 1 byte.

Adorable Cat reacted to jj9987 in I think I killed my GPU :\
It's dead. Whether it can be fixed depends on what connectors were touched, where the current moved, what got damaged in the process. Best case, a resistor or a capacitor blew, which can be replaced. Worst case (some part of) the GPU die and/or any of the surrounding memory modules is dead. In this case, the repair will cost (a lot) more than a new GPU. You might be able to see the damage, but might not.

Most likely the easier way is to just consider it dead and get yourself a new one.

Protip - never EVER touch components in your PC when it is running.

So I got my cheap PCIE risers yesterday and they work totally fine, despite looking like some obsolete IDE cables that have been given a new lease on life. I found out where to put the graphics card and cut some holes. I would have used a CNC to just drill all the holes perfectly, but I can't go to school for the next couple weeks due to human malware. The only thing now to do is get everything back in the box and find a way to stabilize the graphics card better. I also need to get a USB wifi adapter so I can have internet access on it

    What's up,
The backstory of this build is my sister impulse bought a phonograph from a Barnes and Noble, and it was really shitty and apparently the brand has a reputation for breaking records. She's gotten a new player and doesn't need this any more, so she gave it to me to mess around with.

I've just upgraded pretty much my whole desktop from a i7 3770 to a R5 1600 (AF), and despite the record player sucking, the box looks pretty cool so I want to see if I can build a PC into it, maybe include a monitor in the top too.

I know every time I set up a laptop I reinstall windows to get rid of all the bloatware like McAfee and stuff, haven't heard about custom built PCs installing their own stuff like that though.

I see the H100i Pro only has a lit up CPU block, and that can be just set to be solid white or off. You could also possibly find an AIO without fans and then just put some non RGB fans on it.

Update so idk how but I fried the mobo (it was a pretty beat up one any way), so it'll be maybe a few weeks until I can afford a new mATX or ITX B75 mobo, I'll probably find one off ebay or something

I wanted to include a screen, but it's already gonna be a real tight squeeze to get the GPU in so I think I won't.
