Earpads don't generally stop working.

So my desktop mic broke and i want to use the headphones that i use for calls on my phone. I know that mic is good but when i try to plug it in as a mic it only detects the sounds that come in thru the speakers. 
I dont want the speakers to act as a microphone but the actual microphone thats on the headphones thats used for calls. I dont know how phones solve this but there has to be an option to use the mic on there.
Anyone got ideas?

IPC has became such a big thing, that even clock rate is some cases are not a factor when comparing CPUs. While clock rate is listed as one of the main specs, there are not a single word about IPC in it.
Why are we not measuring it then?  Instructions per clock sounds like a measurement.

It depends how well you can stomach dated game mechanics. They're all numbered, so I'd start from as far back as you're willing. Most people skip number one cause it's terribly difficult. 2 and 3 are still playable in the modern era, and 4 is still considered to be the highlight of the franchise. Absolution is very story driven with gameplay very different from its predecessors. Most people say Absolution was a fine game, just not a good Hitman game.
 
If you had to pick one, I'd go for Blood Money.

I had problem like that, just take the HDD out and put it into PC/laptop and install win on it, then put it back into the Asus one.

That didnt help but i did find a solution. Went fiddling with the settings (to be honest i shouldve done that before posting) and found only the object fade slider would make any difference to the fps. Dropping it to lowest brought my fps back to a steady 60 everywhere with everything else at max. I then inched it back up and found that around 7 is where the most difference is. For me 6 is perfect 60 while 7 and 8 cause 30 fps. 
Strange but thats my fix ... i really didnt want to lower my settings when neither the gpu or the cpu were at max usage. Either way i suppose this is solved.

Iran in here to tell you the title might have a typo. 

I think youre asking yourself the wrong question. You should be thinking how much $ you want to spend. Something like a 390 should be plenty but if you feel like spending more then go for the 980ti. I wouldnt recommend the 970 or anything under that and i also wouldnt recommend a crossfire/sli setup for 1080p.

Just no. He is fine getting a 4690 for his first build. Recommending a g3258 and a 960 in a 800$ build is just stupid (sorry but it is). Youre better off saving on the power supply and case/fans and get a better gpu. I would consider http://pcpartpicker.com/p/y9sB6h superior over what you posted.

Youre correct thei5 is much better in single threaded performance which is indeed more important when it comes to gaming. Whats your budget?
A high end i3 is also a great option for light gaming, even some heavier tasks as well.

Will you be primarily gaming? To me it seems a bit unbalanced...
How much would you save going non-K and a h97 mobo over the more expensive z97. Also the PSU might be considered overkill unless you plan on sli.
If you can squeeze in a 970 or a 290x with a non-k i5 you would profit a lot in gaming performance i think. Maybe others should comment on that as well.
