Repainting room, what colours?

I have already decided on the colour for the skirting board but what should I do for the walls?

 

I want to do a blue theme and I am using this for the skirting boards (Photo attached)

I like that color I was actually planning on redoing my room in the coming months with a similar tone.

If I had to paint my room, I would choose either light grey or dark-ish grey.

 

But the skirting boards are blue, so I would go for the same shade of blue but lighter or darker.

Why not have that colour on your walls, and do the skirting white gloss?

You should do your skirting boards white or brown then use that colour for the actual walls.

That colour is pretty nice, My 'Theme' wall or whatever the hell you want to call it in the living room is very similar. 

 

Teal type colours have long been a good choice IMO.

Great minds think alike ; recently decorated. Would probably go for a darker grey, if i were to do it again.

yeah I went with a white and grey with some accents was gonna go black and white but it's just too much

That wonky picture annoys me, haha. Unless it's the angle you took the picture but everything else looks straight?  

 

Honestly can't go wrong with a neutral colour and a feature wall. When you're bored, change the feature wall!

I like that! I do want to keep it simple though so just going to use paint.

Besides from the whole TV panel thing it seems pretty easy to do its just two different shades of grey and a picture on the wall,looks amazing tho

It's annoying thought because my carpet is currently blue and that won't be able to change for a while but that may still go with the grey. I'll have to reconsider the grey walls..
