The Venn diagram of people who understand cryptocurrency and the people who use Norton products, probably doesn't overlap at all.

Trust, once lost, is almost impossible to re-gain.
This (the OP and video) does nothing to fix their deservedly bad reputation.

The amount of people with GPUs to make mining remotely worth it (aka earning > $1/ Month, mining) and people who use norton products, also don't overlap
Apparently the minium specs you need is for mining w/ norton is a DGPU w/ 6GB of VRAM, Idk who tf they think their target audience is, no one with thoes specs is using the aboslute abomination of norton.

If you see one for 100$ on eBay, let me know because all the ones I see start at 150$ and go up

There are ads on YT? Since when?

Radium_Angel reacted to TetraSky in Why it is so hard to make a good video game movie?
It's all because the directors, writers and others like them, all want to put in their own "creative vision" instead of taking wholesale the entire thing that's already written and choregraphed in the game.
All because they feel like they have something to prove... even though nobody ask them that.
This result is shlt most of the time, because it deviate so much from the original that the fans don't like it and doesn't explain things enough for non-fans to get into it.
Also doesn't help when they've obviously never touched the source material save for maybe some youtube clips for inspiration.

To the right of the storage, next to "Status". I assume it's referring to the temp (they match in colour) but I"m not certain

I'd skip the quite subjective "could be better" and simply state "out of range" or something like that

Radium_Angel reacted to emosun in PC keeps turning and off randomly at random times
id be pretty impressed if both sticks were both identically broken. this is to check if the problem has ANYTHING to do with ram. keep in mind that if the pc runs stable with a single stick it can also mean the sticks are totally fine and the board itself just doesn't like having two installed. it just narrows a possibility down to an area of focus

Hi! Today I wanted to share with you my little project that I have been working on since the beginning of my studies.
It irritates me that monitoring applications are often outdated in terms of appearance, and Asus or Gigabyte applications looks "too gamery". That's why I wanted to do something that looks like a native application, and provides everything in the most convenient interface possible.
And here you can see the effects:
You like this? Maybe you have any suggestions? Thank you in advance for feedback 🙂

I think i'll just add again that a 100% free thing you can do that is easy is to just run a single stick of ram in the machine to see if it stabilizes. pretty easy thing to do and answers the question pretty quickly depending on how often the machine crashes

Radium_Angel got a reaction from e22big in Do data transfer speed between SATA and NVME worse?
HDD will hit a plateau and stay there (when talking about transfer speeds) SSD as you know, are much faster, as long as you don't fill up the DRAM cache. Cheap drives these days are often dramless and long-term throughput will quickly drop to crap because of that lack of cache.

The US gov't put them on the Do Not Buy list for a long time (dunno if that's been rescinded or not, it's still a standing order in the gov't agency I work for)
They most certainly deserve it.

Assuming we are talking about computer parts, I have a 27 year old floppy drive at work that still functions.
If it's general stuff, I have a camera from the early 1900s that still functions just fine.

Driversavers are the best bet.
You will not get the drive back in functional condition however, only the data

Radium_Angel reacted to Arika in I think I found the solution to the HP underperformance.
As he should have. anything that is not stock windows you don't need
Anything that is installed by the OEM is bloatware. If this gaming hub is required to make your computer run as it should, then the entire computer should never be sold to anyone ever, because it's got an arbitrary lock on the hardware that can only be unlocked by some piece of HP branded software that they don't even tell you about. That's REAL scummy,
