so that error can be either software or hardware...

I would just use 1 drive in the pc...open CMD run as admin and type   SFC /SCANNOW

    and then test pc

if no change just run with 1 stick of ram, try each stick seperatly in each slot and test pc

    run memtest on each stick

check any cables you have from drives (replace)

if its software look at the older ssd maybe being the issue or the cable...format the drive

or it could be the gpu as that is the only other part (except psu) that is original

SkilledRebuilds reacted to MarvintheParrot in Bluescreen Error When Running Cyberpunk 2.01
    Hi all,

Just installed the 2.01 update for Cybperunk 2077 on Steam, and when I go to run it, it gives me a BSOD. The PC then restarts and shows me the American Megatrends screen and tells me that the CPU overheated. I've tried starting the game multiple times and even tried turning up my fan speed. I've also checked my CPU temp as I'm loading into Cyberpunk, and it's ~90C.

    My specs are:
CPU AMD Ryzen 5 3600 Motherboard ASUS ROG STRIX-B550-A RAM Crucial Ballistix 16GB 3200 GPU RTX 3060 Ti FE Case Lian Li o11 mini Storage 256GB M.2 SSD / 500GB M.2 SSD / 2TB Hard Drive PSU Seasonic SGX650 Cooling ASUS ROG STRIX LC240 White Let me know if there is anything I can do. Also, I will be away from my PC for a few hours, so hopefully the CPU may be able to cool down until I'm back.

    Thanks!

I want to make a shortcut which toggles CPU turbo mode on and off. Throttlestop can control CPU turbo but and doesn't have a shortcut. What program can I use to achieve this?

SkilledRebuilds got a reaction from TylerD321 in Boots to windows but can't get to BIOS.
It's not a bios option it's part of how the GPU initializes itself based on it's own VBios rules.
I've had a Nvidia GPU do this, while the same GPU from another maker didn't do it. (2 separate GTX1060)
It's gotta be done via output ports of the GPU (as far as I can tell)

So i don't want you to reset bios for no reason...but if you want to anyway... that's still up to you but I don't think it'll do anything.

If your GPU has an alternative output port (HDMI / DP or vice versa) try the other one.

Sometimes this can happen on certain configurations, while one goes blank for the boot sequence until windows, you can switch to the alternative for hopefully a different result. I've had to do this a couple times over the years. DP is blank, went to HDMI, and vice versa on another config.

SkilledRebuilds got a reaction from Lurking in SATA SDD performance
Due to 128GB instead of 256GB capacity.
Many models (write speed) is lower on their 64-128GB models.
Not that it really matters much, typical uses like installing programs and writing data is still going to be plenty acceptable and you probably wouldn't even notice anyway due to small tiny files being written never reach MAX speed in their operations anyway, each file is already transferred 100% before it even hits it's speed rating.
Lots of tiny files being transferred are typically slower than larger file transfers.

Personally.... I would just backup EVERYTHING that's Yours from the phone...
Then Proper RESET/CLEAR (Reinstall the OS) and see if it still happens on a new 'stock' Operating System.
Rule out the old software installs/bugs at least.
Sooner you start sooner its finished.
But that's what I'd do anyway...

Do you have both GPU power plugs coming off a single cable? (Aka Daisy Chained power)?
If you have another PCIE cable with 2x power plugs, use a single plug of each main cable to power your GPU.

With daisy chained PCIE coming from a single cable My 2080ti had similar behavior.
Switching the GPU power from a single cable with 2 8pins for 2 cables with an 8 pin each being use solved it.

Worth a try if you have the second PCIE power cable available from your PSU.

CSGO is called CPU demanding when its not
    Its CPU LIMITED.
Aka, can't use all cores or threads.
Only a few. So its CPU thread limited, not CPU demanding.

Witchwr 3 Next Gen uses 2 cores 4 threads, Elden Ring uses 1core 100%..
All CPU limited, but not CPU demanding.

When CPU limited, Frequency of Cores in use and Ram Latency matters most.

You say same build but are your ram timings exactly the same (subtimings) as an example of they are still not likely the same build after all...
His software's at atartup and concurrently running vs your.s,.. also probably differs.. Most PCs with similar hardware are still not the same, user preferences and use cases / software installed or used ... all comes into play.
