Tesla's Motor Vehicle Order Agreement has a section that prohibits Cybertruck owners from selling their vehicle within the first 12 months of ownership without receiving approval from Tesla. Anybody wishing to sell their car within the twelve month period must receive permission from Tesla to sell the car and give Tesla the opportunity to purchase the car from them, and only if Tesla doesn't want to buy it and gives the owner permission to sell it can the seller sell the car to a third party. If you try to sell the cybertruck without Tesla's approval they will sue you for $50,000 or the value of the car (whichever is higher) and refuse to sell you any cars in the future.
 

 
 
This seems ridiculous to me. Car manufacturers should have no control over what owners do with their car after they've purchased them.
This could really screw over people who buy on credit who may want to sell due to financial reasons. People could end up trapped in loans they can't repay unable to sell the car to pay off the loan or forced to sell the cybertruck back to Tesla at a lower price than what they could have got in the open market.
 
Convince me why Tesla should be able to control the second hand market for their vehicles.

I used to work in the industry and that's not even enough to deal with the ass holes that generally they have to deal with. If you dont like the price then stop eating there. Your not entitled to cheap food and cheap labor.

Is this meant to imply that other people should damn well live in poverty just so you can have a cheap meal at McDonalds? Yeah, paying fair wages increases prices, but I'd wager making it fair for everybody is still a better outcome than just determining that a portion of the population get to live in abject poverty and work in slavish conditions just so you can live cheaper.
 
Besides, most global scale corporations could increase the salaries of their lowest earning employees by a factor of 3 and still cover all that with the bonuses they drop annually on their C-level executives, who don't work any harder than those on the front-lines but somehow still get paid thousands of times more.
 
You have to account for purchasing power. A raw number means nothing if we don't know what it costs to live there. But the bottom line is 70 hours is never an acceptable amount per week anywhere. There's a reason why most first-world countries have capped somewhere between 40 and 45 hours and many push for that to be lowered. For one, free time is just necessary. But more importantly, more hours do not result in more productivity, so it's essentially worthless to employers. Not to mention the health side-effects of overworking for employees.

This just in, old rich boomer is disconnected from reality, news at 11. He didn't become rich by paying his workers a fair wage. He became rich and pulled the ladder up with him to prevent others from reaching his level.

Haswell.broalwell is probably the creators way of saying it works with either. Just try it though, see what works. Setting up a hackintosh is gonna need some tweaking.

Give it a few years. The player base will grow older and won't have time to play video games anymore. While the kids will just latch on some newer game instead.
I'm sure some people will still play it on private servers once EPIC shut their servers down when they release a new game to take the place of Fortnite, but that will be like a drop of water in the desert compared to the player base today. Even more so in 20 years.
