Not the source. The people who are replying here are the ones who are not fact checking and obviously don't know what they're talking about or are letting their opinions get ahead of them. When I get home tomorrow I'll gladly make a nice reply.

A good thing to note is a lot of games that don't support CF/SLI, generally are smaller games that will never need the extra power anyways.
Also, @cluelessgenius it isn't logical to turn everything to max. Somethings EAT FPS to all shreds but makes almost little difference on visuals. If you're playing at 1440p/4k, you don't need AA maxed ect.

Whole requiring restart blah blah out of the way, it's almost a one click update. Just go to the update screen, click express/custom install and let it do it's thing. Rolling back drivers, oh boo hoo you have to go to their website.
Having used both interfaces, AMD has a much cleaner design that works well.
In the end, I could really care less, I like AMD's ecosystem better but I'm not going to whine and cry over little shit.

Let's see how the new peeps do with the next gen. With Volta right around the corner though... hoping to snag a 1080/1080Ti for a bit lower than usual.

People need to not be salty and complain that a push forward is finally being made. I've seen way to many posts since the 8700k released "I regret my 7700k" or "I regret my 6700k" some regretting Ryzen.
I got my 6700k, damn happy with it and I have no plans on upgrading until AT LEAST I go to Uni.

The little shit is 14, he knows what he is doing is wrong. This world treats teens like their fucking weak ass little 8 year olds when it comes to the law and suing people. He should know what he did effected others, to many it can be "just a video game", to others it is a outlet from the outside world and when it gets ruined because some little shit can download a cheat and ruin upwards of dozens, sometimes hundreds of peoples games then yes, he needs to know that more than a ban will be issued to him.
Though, a step further needs to be taken and the creator of this cheat needs to be fined much harsher than the cheater itself. $250, $500 whatever for cheating but for making it? I would say that $150,000 is justified to an extent.

The University of Waterloo here in Ontario is pretty good, with a comfortable 53% acceptance rate. Tuition might be iffy for international students, though.

My Dad's a software developer, and he's told me that it's recognized quite well on resumes in technical fields like the ones you've described. I believe a few of his colleagues are Waterloo graduates as well.

They also administer a bunch of Math and computing (and physics?) contests that are run at schools across Canada and the world, which is pretty cool...I guess...¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Living space and whatnot is pretty cheap here, too.

I'm not very knowledgeable on smaller schools in the US...or in Canada, really...

I agree to a point. The Loot Box system in OW is fine as it isn't manipulative, or doesn't try to be. CS:GO's or Rocket League system's of lootboxes and other games are seductive and pull you in and want you to purchase keys to open them. OW, you get a loot box, you open it. CS:GO? RL? You get a loot box, you go to open it? Oh, you are prompted by either a screen to purchase keys or says you can't open it. From there you think what's 1 or 2 keys? You open it, you see you get so close to some item worth a few dollars or a few hundred so you do it again and again and again. It is horrible and is a big issue.

As far as I can tell, the GoFlo 12nm process is based on Samsung's 14nm process, but both the GoFlo 14nm process and Samsung 14nm process are in reality about 17nm. It wouldn't make sense to go from 17nm to 17nm. Therefore, since it's only based on Samsung's 14nm process and not a direct copy, it's probably going to slot in between Samsung's 14nm (17nm) and Samsung's 10nm (12nm). This is probably going to be around 14 to 15 actual nanometers. Intel's 14nm process is actually around 13nm. If GoFlo 12nm process is extremely close to Samsung's 10nm process (12nm), then maybe there's a chance AMD could enjoy some desktop process superiority over Intel, but only until Intel releases their second 10nm (9.5nm) process around the second half of 2018. This is because the first generation 10nm actually has worse performance than 14nm, limiting it to mobile devices.

well its early access, you cant run before you walk. if they optimized the game full early they would have to re do it every time their is a update which is a waste of time and money. I was a alpha tester for Project Cars and the last month was the biggest month for performance improvements. if you don't want to play a unoptimized game don't buy early access or play games before they release it.

I still prefer the flexibility and openness of OBS and having complete freedom, eliminates a lot of editing and don't get me started on streaming on any of them, both are pathetic for streaming. Though, for people just doing quick clips of stuff they did in games to upload to youtube/Reddit/put up for some popular YouTube to use is a top 10 or whatever they're both fine.
