MSI GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Gaming X 4GB SLI Possible?

Nate1080

Just wondering if MSI GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Gaming X 4GB would run in sli wouldn't mind running 2. Also could you run 750ti and 1050ti in sli if supported ? Not sure how sli fully works at this point learning now lol

I don't think anything below a 1070 supports SLI in the pascal roundup

Business and it's better to have a single more powerful Gpu over two weaker cards in SLI

SLi doesn't work with anything under a 1070. Like the 1050Ti physically doesn't have SLi fingers on it.

It's not "Nvidia being Nvidia" Pascal doesn't really like SLi, games don't like SLi. The only people who need SLi are top end users who don't mind throwing $300-$1000 for some games to run better.

The lower end cards don't support SLi because people who buy low end cards really shouldn't waste their money on it. It's not worth it. They're preventing people from basically burning money for no reason.

But why not give the consumer the choice?  spend $150 now and then maybe another $150 a few months later when the money is available.

A single card is really the way to go. But there is just something about SLI....

Even if it would work, Sli with weaker / older cards is a stupid idea.

It was a stupid idea 10 years ago, and that didn't change.

Multi-GPU support is going down, and SLI/Crossfire is dying. And that is a good thing.

So my ultimate result is: It is not a tiny little bit a bad thing, that Nvidia doesn't let their GPUs below 1070 support Sli.

Even if they would, it would still be a stupid idea.

Even RX 480/580 CF is a stupid idea.

With Multi-GPU you get much more problems, than you get additional Performance.
