Some peeps don't seem to get that Gsync monitors are crazily priced, and an adaptice sync or Freesync is so much more cost effective, hence the desire for an AMD card. I'd gotten an RTX 2080 Ti, but it's hooked up to my Acer XR341CK (via HDMI) which is a Freesync monitor. Yes, the RTX 2080 Ti can play every game I play at >70fps at max setting at 3440x1440, but Freesync can't be used. I managed to source a VEGA 64 for my other rig (replaced 2x GTX Titan 6GB) and have it hooked up to my monitor via Displayport cable for Freesync support.

you picked a sata m.2 ssd, and the mobo only one slot, make sure you wont regret on future updates.
otherwise get a nvme for $15 more

To be 100% honest I havn't found g-sync and free-sync worth paying extra for. It is kind of a gimmick, but if that is something you wanted, then I would go AMD. Usually with a 1080 or vega, your framerates stay in a range where it is smooth over 60 fps but not high enough to have screen tearing. There is other ways to deal with screen tearing. It's up to you. Free-sync might not be a bad investment since it is so cheap.

Planning on an entirely new build. But yes my profile has my current build.  Cpu, mobo, memory, ssd, gpu, monitor, keyboard, headset I'm planning on upgrading in about a month.  I'd do an Nvidia gpu but the gsync monitors are a little crazy for a 1440p 144hz ips panel.

I'm not 100% sure but I believe it's used for tracing the initialisation process for drives. It's almost never used, as it logs everything that happens and thus results in a pretty substantial increase to boot up time.

No, it can only be activated through the command line and intentionally made difficult to access due to it having absolute rights over almost everything.

    FINALLY!!!!! I figured it out.

Followed the instructions exactly, and it worked!
The first site I tried following must have not been using the correct commands.
Edit: The commands were the same, so I'm not sure why it didn't work the first time.

android is a good way to show off your work if you want to go down the java path. Most work available is in web apps but there is a high demand for mobile apps. Even though the market is saturated there are almost annual changes to API and google can't seem to make its mind up on its maps & GPS API. I wouldn't classify android apps as software engineering as the API is very high level; abstracted away from low level/hardware stuff and more about design & usability

Once you understand how the shapes work and get the hang of the equations it will be incredibly easier. Just getting over that hump is what makes the difference, but I would be happy to help along with @Mug

Thing with trig is once you get the hang of it it's easy but getting the hang of it is difficult. Do some research into deriving the equations then it'll become second nature to you.
I'm not sure what level of trig you're on but if you're struggling with it, add it to this thread and I'll try to give you a hand. I didn't do any maths bar what was mandatory but I have a degree in Chemistry and a solid grade in Physics A Level so I must be fairly good at it.

Trigonometry as such is not hard, as others have said to you, but you need a bit (lot) of practice. In my experience, the best thing you an do is try to learn how to visualise. It will help you a lot later on when you'll be faced with more complex problems.
The thing that I use to this day, is placing everything in a room. 3D system may be complex sometimes, especially in my "branch", so it's easier for me to imagine the 3D system, or better to say the axis, as the bottom corners of a room. So you have X, Y and Z axis there as the "lines" where the walls/floor meet. Then observing, or let's say imagining how things should be placed at the said corner, helps me quite often on what I need to do.
One more thing you should do, if you're interested in it, is trying to understand the theory behind it. Most people, even in uni, just learn how to solve stuff, let's say like a template, without understanding why they are doing something (I do it myself sometimes if I don't have the time to properly study ). If you understand the theory, and why is something as it is, then you'll have no problem. After all, solving the exams is indirectly applying the theory without you knowing it.

Trig is super easy, once you understand it. But one does not simply understand trig. The reason for this is that it's basically, just memorization, salted to perfect annoyance with a little bit of algebra.

For example, a question like: How is Sin actually calculated? Has a very simple (but hard to understand) answer:

    It's the binomial expansion of X. So suppose we want to calculate sin(x). It then becomes this lovely thing: sin(x) = x - x^3/3! + x^5/5! - x^7/7! + x^9/9! - ... + + (-1)^(n-1)*x^(2n-1)/(2n-1)! + .... to infinity

If the device is set as UEFI or Legacy boot and the BIOS forgets which its supposed to be that can happen. I've had it happen after BSODs before on desktops. Boot order or legacy/UEFI settings get buggered. Hard reset may have shaped it back up, but you may wanna double check what the drive actually is, boot wise, and make sure the BIOS is set as that only.

Any respectable gaming laptop is going to have a dedicated gpu. Apus are good for lighter games, but anything more and they don't do too well. Currently with the new bristol ridge apus the gpu is about on par with a r7 250, which can play 1080p low setting for most games.

Hey man you never know and I don't wanna be the one to tell you this but if you're trying to oc it while it's already unstable isn't helping matters maybe try and reseat your card, umm... You could try and reinstall windows even though I know how much that sucks if reinstalling windows wouldn't help then your gfx card is most likely the problem that's all I got
