Searching for a Vega 64!

Currently in search of a decent deal on a new vega 64.  I intend to use it with a new 1440p Ips 144hz monitor. Hopefully to have a decent Doom and bf1/5 framerate. I've found some vega 64s for about 510 new or 400 for a 56. I'm really hoping for a new series of amd cards before black Friday but I don't think that'll happen. :(

is the machine in your profile up to date? you plan to use your atlon 760 with that combo?

honestly if you want the performance of the vega 64 for a good price just buy a 1070ti from evga or something. Their 1070ti's are going for good prices. Unless you have freesync on your monitor, the 1070 ti is a good buy. If you have a little more money to spend get a 1080

With all the tech leaks, we'd know about new high end cards already, so no home for getting Vega refresh in the next month, and they'll have their launch MSRP so a Black Friday sale wouldn't affect prices.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k (won) - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

Linux Proliant ML150 G6:

Dual Xeon X5560 - 24GB ECC DDR3 - GTX 750 TI - old Seagate 1.5TB HDD - dark mode Ubuntu (and Win7, cuz why not)

How many watts do I need? Seasonic Focus thread, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Planning on an entirely new build. But yes my profile has my current build.  Cpu, mobo, memory, ssd, gpu, monitor, keyboard, headset I'm planning on upgrading in about a month.  I'd do an Nvidia gpu but the gsync monitors are a little crazy for a 1440p 144hz ips panel.

Some peeps don't seem to get that Gsync monitors are crazily priced, and an adaptice sync or Freesync is so much more cost effective, hence the desire for an AMD card. I'd gotten an RTX 2080 Ti, but it's hooked up to my Acer XR341CK (via HDMI) which is a Freesync monitor. Yes, the RTX 2080 Ti can play every game I play at >70fps at max setting at 3440x1440, but Freesync can't be used. I managed to source a VEGA 64 for my other rig (replaced 2x GTX Titan 6GB) and have it hooked up to my monitor via Displayport cable for Freesync support.

Linus Tech Tips did a video on how to use FreeSync on Nvidia and G-Sync on AMD
