u can always get the HDD out of the laptop, connect it to other pc and get your files. You dont need windows pasword to get the files on other pc.

Hve you tried putting it into the other pci-e slot? to check if one port is just not disabled/dead ?

EVGA does also offer 10 years(at least on mine they did) but they are most of the time more expensive  
 
if you are concerned about powerdraw i have 2x 1070 + 2x 470 8gb and they draw 600w from the wall with 4790k, 10 fans, 2 hdd, 1 ssd, 2m.2 ssd, 2 pumps mouse and keyboard (without monitors) when mining. Soooooooo, 1200w for 4 1070 is an overkill 800 would be sufficient as long as you OC them + reduce powerdraw + optimize for mining.

Just an FYI, while many companies "state" that doing such and such voids the warranty, this isn't really the case most of the time.
 
Legally speaking, swapping out user upgradeable hardware does not void the warranty. Actually getting them to honour it is a different story though

Most people dont use both monitors the same amount, they usually have 1 main monitor that takes most of the time that they are on the PC and second monitor as a monitor to show documents, videos, etc. that you want to have open all the time but dont want to open just to read a few lines. So it makes perfect sense to have 1 main monitor with higher resultion and second monitor with lower. 

Though if you are bothered by small thing(like me), i would not survive having 2 monitors that arent the same resolution, it would just drive me crazy (especially when they are the same size and are next to each other)

that is enough, though for a streamer i would swap the 7700k for 1700x or 1800x if you can, that will provide you with much better streaming/editing. 

Dont forget SSD and at least 16gb of ram.

EVGA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti SSC GAMING ACX 3.0 4GB GDDR5 Graphics Card, 768 Core, 1366MHz GPU, 1480MHz Boost
 
Will give it a +150 on the core and +300 on memory, hope the wattage stays happy with that. Alternatively it is still fast enough even in stock form, GPU Boost 3.0 will do it's thing I'm sure.
