Why not fans on both sides for the lols?

Also, if the fans are on the outer side, it would be a magnet for children fingers.

edit:

Fan grill however...

But its only 120mm right?

I have 4x AP181s in the R4 at 10v (the lowest I could volt them and still have them turn) they do make quite a bit of noise. I have the back 2 turned off now but can flick them on 'if I need' which I don't... ever...

Can you please stop posting irrelevant stuff in this thread? I subbed for the build log, and now my notification center explodes everytime I log in, because you guys need to discuss some stupid fans. Please.

He recommended a fan that wouldn't fit this radiator at all, I discussed the AP181's because they are of relevant size, also discussing the fact of quad 180mm fans can be noisey if he decided to go Push/Pull. To me, that's all relevant.

Clearly Lay's hates Noctua.

I just dislike the absolute fanboy-ism they receive, despite other options being better :/

I'm not trying to be cocky, but I'd really like to know some better options. The Brown is a little much

for me, and I am considering AP123 (maybe) because I have plans for pursuing red & cyan/blue &

white colour scheme.

edit: Justin, sorry for spamming up your log. I realize now I could've just personal messaged him.

Painting the heatsinks is no problem. and instead of using alcohol on the caps, you could use an enamel paint and just paint it on with a brush.

Best regards,

Justin.

Don't really know of the advantage of painting the caps instead of using alcohol to remove the paint...

Hmmm - Also looks like the gtx 800 series has been postponed yet again \o/

Might get a 780ti and sell it when the 880 comes out :S

Also does anyone know of a silver board? Would save me the hassle... Though ASUS features are nice :/

Everyone have a cool signature. I don't, so I thought I would write something.

- Cool right?

Nah just thinking that you would like them a colour or shade instead of silver. Black for example to remove all focus is popular.

The Z97 series would be your closest best. You could pick most any motherboard though and soak the heatsinks in a cleaning agent or super heat them, cool, and then lightly sand with WD40 and sandpaper. Then you will have the bare aluminium :)

Best regards,

Justin.
