another question for you all, would you treat somebody different if you knew that he/she is depressed?

Dysthymia: Slight-Moderate

Bipolar Disorder: High

Cyclothymia: Extremely High

Seasonal Affective Disorder: Slight-Moderate

Postpartum Depression: N/A

Now its probably not as bad, I was testing how I felt 3-4 years ago.

another question for you all, would you treat somebody different if you knew that he/she is depressed?

If that person did not know that I know that he/she is depressed then yes.

If that person know that I know then no.

I can't take that test seriously with questions like "In the last six months, have you gained a lot of weight or lost a lot (not due to dieting)?" I've lost weight and I don't diet or QQ in the corner listening to Linkin Park. That test is the definition of flawed.

Yes. I'd try to be a little more attentive, and treat them with a little more sympathy. That doesn't mean to say that I'd put up with everything. I don't expect people to put up with me if I know I'm going to have a really bad day, so I just try to avoid people when that happens.

I don't think you're supposed to take the test that seriously. It's an online test, I really hope nobody is actually using that to diagnose themselves accurately (or even at all for that matter) with it.

such a great bunch of questions: "Do you sometimes feel out of control and lose all good judgement?"

"Do you think that sadness and disappointment are a regular part of life, and that "happy" people are only deceiving themselves?"

"Have you lost interest in things that you used to enjoy?"

"Would you say you feel discouraged, unmotivated, and uninspired?"

"When you are feeling very confident, do you take on too much and make foolish decisions?"

"Does your mind ever race through ideas and cause you to feel restless and distracted?"

I knew I had bipolar disorder and serious mental issues but I don't know what the heck is cyclothymia xP

EDIT: I have no idea why I'm not allowed to use .png here...

Also, as an Asian, one of the things that sucks the most about bipolar is that I can't concentrate. Not like ADHD, but my brain just won't do its job most of the time

Lets see here, I have been divorced, had to deal with custody mess with my kids and lost my mom all in the past 4 yrs, so I think really I am doing pretty good lol. I agree with the SAD because I hate the cold winter mess and lack of daylight hours this time of yr.
