Fish in PC case

As you all may know you can cool your PC with mineral oil. I was wondering if there are any alternatives to mineral oil that are non conductive and are habitable and hospitable to fish. I was wondering if it's possible to fill a case with this fluid and have your fish live in the same case, and liquid, as your pc.

Aorus did a half fish tank, half PC case sample. Bascially, the PC is soaked under mineral oil that's less than half a tank full, then water is added on the top half so fish can live there.

 

In a long run it isnt possible though, unless you like fish poop cover up your PC parts. yuck

This has been asked plenty of times before, just search google.

 

1) temperature changes will kill the fish.

 

2) to prevent growth you need to use biocide which kills the fish.

 

3) fish need water, and water is conductive.

 

4) food, poop, and minerals in the water will damage any components.

Do not do this!
There are heavy metals and other dangerous chemicals present in computer parts that are toxic.

If you want to do it, then separate the sections. One section for a mineral oil tank PC, and then a completely separate section for a standard fish tank, along with pump and other things required for normal fish tanks.

Just get a seperate tank. The fish will shit everywhere and will fuck your PC up.

Here is the answer buy robotic fish just make sure none have rubber if you are putting them in mineral oil

What if you had a tank with a smaller acrylic clear box with the components and mineral inside, or if you could use glycerin (don't know if it's conductive) you could get a really cool effect 

 

After some research i found that glycerin is not conductive so it would work perfect, 

 

This is what i was thinking of for the glycerin and water

 

You wouldnt see the box itself so it would seem as its in the water.
