I just figured out Shift+Tab takes you in the opposite direction of Tab!

Shift often reverse stuff. E.g. Ctrl + Tab (in Chrome) is switching tabs from left to right, while Ctrl + Shift + Tab is switching tabs from right to left.

You should try Alt + F4

i JUST FIGURED OUT THAT ALT+F4 DOES REALLY COOL STUFF IN MOST VIDEOGAMES TOO! TRY IT OUT!

Loved that feature on Chrome. Now that I switched to Opera, it doesn't work... Oh well...

On some Windows PCs, hitting holding Ctrl & hitting ScrollLock twice does some cool things, including possibly making your PC faster for a while. :P

Just thought of another one, but this might be a bit over the top? (Hence why it's in a spoiler; btw what text color do I need to set it to so it's the same color as the background in both light & dark modes?)

Start the latest version of Prime95 running Small FFTs, then open your motherboard/CPU tuning utility in Windows.  Crank up the CPU voltage all the way (2.5V, 3V, 5V, whatever it maxes to) and click apply. :o

 

Don't try this on any system you care about, of course!

You just highlight the text and press that Tx button on the toolbar.

Alternatively, on the forum, if you CTRL + Right click, you get the option to "Paste without formatting".

But what if I want the text to be this color for day theme users?

There's no single color option that works as a means of hiding the text for both theme's users, meaning you'd do what you've just done, post it twice in Black and White... Which makes it pointless.

Yeah, I wanted to "hide" the text in the spoiler too. :P (of course it's still possible to see it, just highlight the text being easiest, or view page source.)

Speaking of which, too bad we can't hide text in page code so you'd have to view source in something that supports non-HTML to see it. :P

 

For now the best I can probably do is mid gray. Now I need to figure out what color is exactly halfway between 2A2A2A and FFFFFF.  (Turns out 2A is 42 in decimal; FF is 255.  Halfway between those is 148.5, but how do you do fractional hex?  148 is 94 and 149 is 95, but I think 949594 or 959495 isn't close enough to halfway between 2A2A2A and FFFFFF.)

 

Then I also need to learn how to do non-gray colors in a way that makes them work well on both themes. :) (I think I've seen a few rainbow colors in signatures.)
