Yup. Having mild/medium symptoms and being told "Oh, it's just your mind. You need to get to work!" and "You're therapy-resistant, you'll have to live with it." is really disheartening. Then I told that doctor right after he said that, that this statement really hurt me. His answer? "Why? That's the way it is."

Having to wait 5.5 years for it to really escalate to the point where I feel like being 85 years old continence-wise and like I'm an unfixable mental wreck, where my mind destroys my body, certainly was painful. Both mentally and physically. I now need to get used to trusting my body, my mind and my instincts because the "When am I going to have the next accident again? When will I be in pain again? When will it stop?" certainly made an impression after 5.5 years. Something told me ~3-4 years ago that it wasn't all mental and I didn't listen to it due to this toxic statement. I had a ~6 week long remission before that and it started when I was feeling perfectly fine, suddenly it started again. I was questioning my mind, but something told me it isn't just that.

That told me it wasn't all mental, but rather mentally influenced at best (because I knew it would happen at a certain time and the stress due to the anticipation increased it). The final breaking point came yesterday with the incontinence accident and the fact that it has been bleeding and me having daily colics certainly isn't mental, especially after I have been significantly de-stressed since about three years due to things around here becoming much better and then again due to the child services being paid again, yet it still became worse and worse, fast.

That sent me to the ER, for a good reason because literally my entire colon is inflamed, bleeding and one part is actually ulcerating. The mind certainly doesn't do that.

 

Get a new doctor, even doctors can have their stupidity or might be focused in only one area or idea. (sometimes for better or for worse).

Bleeding should in places you shouldn't bleed in, should be a warning sign. (sometimes the body can heal itself). The mind is a thing that CAN be an issue but the core issue in something like this?? stress and other factors the mind can do, depending on what. Since the issues got worse and worse, I guess is more of the final crying of your body giving up and when big issues can drasticly change your life. Either it being cancer, any internal damages, liver failure etc. Also with age the body will worsen by itself, so living healthy, eating "healthy" can make less issues for the body and making it repair itself easier? of course with assigned treatment and some things just take time to improve health wise.

 

 

Also when you have such issues in the guts, wounds can be opened which can react more to certain allergies even if you are not allergic.

So diets can be a testing stage, some might become more to reactive to diary, gluten or if anything else like gassy foods (beans, etc). Less processed food, more boiled food might be easier to get down and easier for the body to digest. Hear with a doctor or specialist. Smoking/drinking or drugs can also make things worse.

My "treat" when I was little was 95% cocoa dairy-free chocolate.

Yup, water is the best thing to drink.

Did that actually happen? I heard something about someone poisoning their spouse and blaming trump to get out of murder charges, but I don’t remember any actual cases of people trying it.
