Ok but that's not technically a Core 2 product now is it? ? And that's still a good deal slower than an i5 2400 while costing about the same if not less.

Its a binned Q9650....and its the exact same architecture, plus I run it on LGA775 motherboards.

That's my Bill Gates "Signature" copy of Vista Ultimate on the right.  I actually liked Vista.

 

Lunar is one of my favorite games of all time, and that's my original copy for Sega CD on the left.

 

No surprise I've got one of the LGR floppies, either.  Of course I'm a fan; and yes, it's floated on a PC-Putty colored matte.  

 

Really digging the lithograph print from Bethesda replicating the original Doom artwork.  I didn't want to spend the cash, but...  I had to.

 

I only recently started actually decorating things here with my geeky stuff, so I'm still super-excited about it all.

Still don't know what to do with all 150+ 5.25" disk , when I first looked at a replacement Chinon drive I couldn't afford one, and by the time I could....the price had quadrupled.

Those are apparently hard to find here. Cheapest I found was £80. Plus, in theory, I should be able to get this mobo up to 133MHz FSB.

Yes and he thinks that 15-30fps minimum settings is playable.  Me and some other people are trying to get together and build a light rig that can play ovw (literally the only game he owns besides minecraft lol).  Probably will end up being a pc with a C2D (socket 775 if i remember right?) upgraded to a C2Q from ebay and a 750 ti or similar.

 

Should be able to play Overwatch.

Some of it functions better than newer stuff from the same manufacturer (looking at you Asus-damn troublesome LGA775 and LGA1150 boards)
