Got a new battery and it was raining outside. Decided to do some donuts. Rear end felt a bit odd afterwards

Sort of loose. Like the rear side was not bolted in. Not enough to clunk or anything. Just enough to feel strange when going over bumps.

Hmm. Would you by chance know when the last time diff fluid was changed?

Only turbo 4 that was in a muscle car was the SVO that was nice but as you know we went back to a v8 for a reason.

Doubt it has been changed. Going to order some small bits like a diff gasket next time. (Along with door lock pin clips and stuff like that) 

So i can have a proper look at the diff itself. 

It has been whining since i bought it but it isn't getting worse at least. And there is fluid in the diff that looked ok last time i checked. 

(By just undoing the fill plug and poking a pipe cleaner in there admittedly) 

 

It still sounds the same and there is no clunking or grinding. So i'm thinking maybe i squished a bushing or something.

Yeah. Still want to swap to a diff cover that lets me change the fluid without taking the cover off at that time too though.

That and its a generational thing. My grandfather then my father and now me. Muscle cars are a very masculine thing in the USA. Thats probably why people say v6 mustangs/camaros are for fags like me or women women.
