I'd look into getting one, but insurance is holding me back

i hope the crosley and the modelt arent sitting in a shared garage at your apartment complex... 

not shared private 1 car garage and my model t is stored in a "shed" that on the land on the apartment (they are more of town houses not a really a multi story apartment complex)

Honestly considering getting a 02-04 WRX and just accepting that I'll get raped by insurance. I mean, I've wanted one since they were new, and I can get one in decent shape for about 3K. Which would leave some budget for mods and that type of stuff.

i mean if you don't mind the insurance, go for it. i want an e39 m5 and it's like 160 a month, but that doesn't stop me. i found one for 10 grand, and if i don't like it, i'll see something else, maybe negotiate on one for 10 or less.

i mean in reality i might have only 5 grand myself, maybe my dad could help me out. then maybe i might drop another 5 grand changing it up to my taste.

i want a subie soo bad, and id do the same xD my neighbors already hate me, my snow machine has an Mbrp race can and my bike has an fmf power core 4, which i haven't touched the jetting yet so it likes to after fire, and boy is it loud xD, as you can tell i like my loud stuff.......

Car wise, can't really help you as I live in Germany and we do have a completely different used marked, compared to the US. I quite like the Legacy, but I haven't driven that much. If you're alright with FWD, then have a look at the Focus/Fiesta ST. They're great fun to drive and should be available in your price bracket in reasonable condition
