Car wise, can't really help you as I live in Germany and we do have a completely different used marked, compared to the US. I quite like the Legacy, but I haven't driven that much. If you're alright with FWD, then have a look at the Focus/Fiesta ST. They're great fun to drive and should be available in your price bracket in reasonable condition

I mean, the S10 we had was loud as shit, muffler fell off, you could honestly hear it a mile away

lol my dad has an 04 dodge with a cummins 5.9, the muffler fell off just behind the turbo, he just lenthened the pipe to about 4 feet from the turbo, and its pretty loud , but the turbo spool

lol, its going carb due to $$ reasons, and we dont have any components for the efi, but we have everything to go carb. possibly in the future but for now, its on a budget , main thing right now is that we have a running motor, and next is paint and wheels

but there's a kit that edelbrock sells that literally is just the system and a monitor.

hmmm might have to check that out then.... but again $$ thing for now i think the main priority for him is to have it driving, so if its between spending money on a efi kit or a wheels or paint i think he`d chose paint or wheels, and plus its fun to mess around with a carb, instead of dealing with a computer, all depends on preference

for me its function over form, if i had a wrx id set it up for rally 

but this is definetly a dream car that ill prob never have, the sti is realistic, this meh not so much since if i had a car it would be a daily, and i sure as hell wouldnt daily this in the winter with all the salt :,(

 

i can get a black one all done up with alot of work done it to for 23,000$ cad, really wish i had the money and a garage for it for the winter.... and well the money for insurance.............

not shared private 1 car garage and my model t is stored in a "shed" that on the land on the apartment (they are more of town houses not a really a multi story apartment complex)

please report the condition of said shed, you are currently being investigated for misstreatment of a classic automobile. (im sure you take god care of you cars)
