Don't lump me in with them. I'm an enthusiast of mechanic design, be it engines, weaponry, or productive machinery. Not a guy with a wrench that reads the marketing garbage AFE/insert other "enthusiast" brand that can't legally warranty half of their products.

I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

If you can't be civil. Please leave

Edit. That goes for everyone in the thread

I will. Thats the first thing we're gonna do. Wash and wax. We need to pour some oil in the cylinders so that can run down for a few days. Needs new tires. Needs a battery, needs valve cover bolts, plug wires need to be put back on, and probably needs new coolant.

Oil change is in order.

Just all the maintance items need to be done. Hell the padded vinyl hard top is even in okay shape. Just needs one of those conditioning treatment things to bring it back.

Hard top seals probably need to be replaced though.

Will know more once we get it out of there.

Nope. I picked up on it. I love horrible puns.

Well that was fucking shit. Two interviews later, Panda told me I got fucking denied. Way to kill my fucking mood. Why the fuck is it so hard for me to land a job? I have so much fucking hard times, while other people get interviewed and get the job no problem.

Damn that freaking sucks. :(

Did you ask why they denied you?

Ugh, I always keep forgetting to ask that question, mostly because I'm too upset that they denied me. I'm so stupid sometimes when I let my anger get the best of me.

Really it's not fair because they're looking for people with experience, but like for me it's almost impossible to get hired probably mainly bc i have NONE.

If you thought life was going to be fair then you haven't been paying attention. Its an employers market. Job hunting sucks ass for everyone.

You'll get there eventually.

I've had a few different jobs. But i'm going for a completely different kind of job which means i don't have any experience to list.

(Except for the operative on site manager position. There i've got experience. But they can still choose someone else)

But will they fit a wagon is the thing? Also those do cost a pretty penny compared to the Maptun coils.

Wagon and sedan are the same mounting wise, just the rear will have to beset slightly higher.

It's my daily so I'm willing to spend the extra money.

Also the D2s are $930 before shipping, vs $640 for the Maptuns pre-shipping.

Plus I can go lower with more types of adjustment

I think when I get my wagon I might just settle for the Maptun coils since more than likely I'm gonna get something more powerful with a manual, though that probably won't be for a while.

But what's most important is building your car for you and your enjoyment,

I'm going through all the effort to put in a 60K motor, so this thing isn't going anywhere. Not gonna cheap out on it even though it would be the easy route

Hmmm 300 bucks doesn't seem like that big of a difference, maybe i'll go for more adjustability when I run wider wheels on it. Maybe when the car is about to be sold I'll sell the coils separately or add them to the price of the car just a little. I'm spending just a little to enjoy the wagon a little bit, then when I get a better car (in my case E39 M5), I'll plop more money on it to be much better to my liking.

Yeah my wagon is going to be with me for a long time. I may pick up another car at some point, but the wagon is going to be with me for a good few years. May pick up a RWD toy, but I love my Saab so much. It's a really nice interior, looks stunning, and it's a rare build around the US, so many cars are played out, Saabs on the other hand are certainly not

I was planning on keeping the wagon and buying an M5, but with maintenance costs of the M5, and insurance, it's just too much, plus I don't want too many cars taking up my dad's driveway, especially when I can only take one to college, so my best decision is to drive the wagon for now and when I have the money for an M5 I'll let go of the wagon maybe to a family friend first so it can still be seen by me, before selling it, as much as I would hate to do that. Two big body cars would be nice, but I would only be able to afford one.

You can always pay to store a car somewhere. And with the insane maintenance costs of the M5 getting rid of the wagon wouldn't be the smartest idea. I wouldn't get rid of a second car if the main car is super expensive to keep alive. Not saying your plan is wrong, just saying it's not the route I would take

Yeah it isn't that smart, but owning an E39 M5 was always a dream of mine (not a big one though, big one is much better cars with a couple projects to screw around with) and it would be too good to pass up any e39 m5 in good condition, so that's kinda a priority. The wagon is kinda the gap between driving my parents' car until I get this car, and the M5 I want. Still a fun car, but I'm aspiring to get something better. EVen better if I can find an E39 wagon with an M5 drivetrain, that would be the holy grail. Plus storing an extra car would be wholly expensive. If, after college, I still decide to be based in San Jose, a storage unit would run about 300 bucks a month. Not good for someone who just left or is still attending college.
