LTX Around the World

mankeez

Thousands of people are going to LTX this year, and some of them are paying a pretty penny to go. Where are you guys coming from? Me, personally, I'm coming from Spain and a Madrid-Vancouver flight with Iberia costs a good 2000 bucks, but I WILL STILL GO.

Victoria. Happy to see it in Richmond this year, might not have to catch the 7am ferry over.

Managed to keep the day under $100 last year - park the car at the Victoria terminal, walk on, TransLink DayPass and ride the ghetto limos. If I'm feeling really saucy I could take the car over and squeeze in a trip to Ikea. Or take my 10 yr old with me to LTX and my wife could hit up the Ikea while the dude and I geek out.

Unfortunately I don't have the time or the money to go. Might tune into the livestream if there is one.

The mountains are blocking a clear shot for me, so I can't go w/o the risk of splatting against them :|

I'm hoping to see some live stream. I'm live in UK but I'm Polish, so there's no chance to get a visa ;p

London to Vancouver is approx £500 in the summer, and a flight from Madrid to London is less than £100.

You might want to have a look into coming to the UK as a stop then onto Vancouver. Those prices are for return flights too.

I might be coming to LTX this year. But damn flights from Japan are expensive AF. ¥176,247 for HND-LAX-YVR and return YVR-HND. Why the hell do the ANA bastards not have direct inbound flight to YVR and have to spend almost 3 bloody hours in LAX?

And if I can come, I will be damn sure to delid the hell out of the ticket.
