floatplane issues

I started paying for floatplane like a year ago and then took my card off PayPal. For this reason it stopped paying for floatplane. I put a card back on and I noticed I've paid for a month of floatplane so why not just watch the videos and continue I guess xD but it's not appearing in the forums. Has this changed? Has it moved to floatplane.com?

Your account doesn't seem to have access to that part. You should have same blue member group like me.

He does have access. The group display is currently in the process of being migrated to a new system, in which both Member and Floatplane Pilot will display, but not on mobile.

Floatplane permissions work slightly differently now, so on desktop it displays both "Member" and "Floatplane Pilot" under your name. On mobile it will only display "Member".

It only shows member on desktop for me now. I don't see anyone named floatplane pilot anymore

Unfortunately the changes that we made were necessary, and there is no easy way to still have a blue name given the changes. It's something that we may look into again in the future, but it's not something that can be reliably implemented in a couple of hours, which is all that I have.

Are there other payment methods that's not paypal? My payments are not processing, it keeps telling me to add a card even though I've already added a card.

Not yet. They've just hired someone to improve that system. Are you using prepaid card, perhaps? You can try it again by disabling javascript while on PayPal site.

Yup, I'm just using a prepaid card(Not still comfortable using my credit card on online transactions lol). Also tried disabling javascript but the payment still does not push through even though I have sufficient balance.

Where? Usernames are links to profiles almost everywhere.

However, please post it as a separate suggestion because it's not related to Floatplane.

Unfortunately PayPal doesn't allow using prepaid cards for subscriptions at the moment. Alternative subscription models are being worked on but there's no ETA for them yet.

Nope, you can determinate hyperlink color with CSS and other HTML magic. Like in night theme links are white with underline and orange highlight.
