I can't say the exact one that they are using there, but you can do it with Rainmeter.

Sorry for the really late reply, that's Rainmeter. I used the Minimo rainmeter skin.

Well my drive died this week and I had to rebuild, but I don't have the energy to recreate my previous setup right now, so here is what I have for the time being as a comparison.

All you peoples with Linux desktops make me want to go back to Linux.  Because it looks cooler.  I miss the super customized desktops.

 

I just run OSX and Win10 in a VM now.  And straight Win10 on my gaming PC.

 

And both are generic aside from my wallpapers.  :(

Overall, you can see I take a very light-touch approach. My philosophy is to only keep the most important programs pinned to the taskbar while putting everything else in the Start Menu/Launchpad. Come to think of it, it's similar to how I manage my desk space in real life, keeping as little on the desk as possible, but stowing everything I need in drawers.

Browsing the web on a machine like that's a brave move. I'd never let anything that out of date on my network. You have separate VLAN for OSes like that with unpatched vulnerabilities?

My setup is my Mac Studio as primary workstation and then from there reach out to servers / vms via ssh.
