Yep! I've used it on iPad for a while now; I've left it on for a few months now. I think it's even more approachable there for me and feels like a natural extension of iPadOS, since it provides something close to a traditional window-based interface on an OS that wouldn't otherwise have such a thing. It also helps that there isn't really a difference between running Stage Manager with a fullscreened app vs just leaving Stage Manager off.

 

As for on Mac, it took a bit of getting used to, but I've come to like the way it works; this is my very subjective opinion, but it feels more elegant than Windows 11's management of grouped windows. There is some clunkiness that adds a couple extra steps here and there though, especially since everything else automatically minimizes if you open a new window.

I have a few to show off from different systems.

 

On my Framework Laptop, I dual boot with Windows 11 and Fedora Sodalite (Silverblue but with Pantheon desktop.)

 

On my desktop (basically an old laptop motherboard I threw into an old desktop case) I run OpenSUSE Tumbleweed with Gnome.

Is your terminal always transparent like that? It looks slick in the screenshot, but seems like it would be hard to use when combined with your desktop icons or when you have other windows open.

i wouldn't recommend ricing Windows this far, you'll likely have to fix your rice every time you update. if you want to, please disable automatic updates so you're at least in control of when everything breaks.

if ur wondering about the memory usage, it's mostly from vms running in the background.

Tho the term originated with how Asians modified cars, so it's not really used right here.
