Techy ways to make money from home/online on the side?

Gandek

This might be a bit off-topic but i decided to post it here. Basically I'm looking for some way to earn money while I'm at home... Might as well cut some of those weekly hours spent on steam and earn a bit right?

  1. You can stream content via twitch, it does not have to be tech stuff could be audio stuff, cars, bikes or what not
  2. make a Patreon and provide good to great content or shit like dude perfect
  3. have a busty pretty girl tastefully and suggestively stream content like gaming/trying on outfits/talking about the weather or pets
  4. code and sell your codes
  5. if you have some place or thing that is unique to where you live you can stream that and just put a donate sticker to your wallet

Yeah i thought a lot about that but its pretty long term i guess? I dont know much about mining but I know for a fact you need to invest in a pretty powerful PC with specific parts for mining and the electricity bills can be pretty damn high.

You just need to make sure the bills are lower than what you'd make doing it.  a 280 isn't great but it might be usable

Kinda depends on what you can do. If you can code you can freelance.

If you can draw, you can do commissions.

Well, no, they're critically wrong.  Cause first, one would have to pay wages to said busty woman.  And said busty woman is pretty likely to realize that the OP is entirely irrelevant and useless to the operation and cut him out entirely for the dead weight that he would be. :P

I do some general PC servicing on the side every now and then, paid maintenance and that sort of jazz.

It's nothing I could call a stable income since I don't actively look for clients (mostly word of mouth).

I also go into consultancy and system building on commission, but those are fairly few and farbetween

Usually when people set out to do something to make money "on the side", it typically doesn't bring in huge profits (depending on what you do, of course). For not a significant investment, you can build a substantial rig that will bring in some extra cash that will easily off-set the additional cost on your energy bill - and all you basically need to do is let it run. The OP could easily do that and still pursue other endeavors on the side, to make even more extra income. This is exactly what I'm doing. ;) I've already been making an extra $60-80 per month, just mining ETH on my 1070 alone and that's not even 24/7 as I still use it almost daily for gaming.
