I also remember a day when people knew what 'Squares' were and that any rectangle with a ratio other than 1:1 was most certainly not a 'square'... But we apparently don't teach that in 3rd grade anymore.

Pretty sure he knows the difference... The monitors from a while back were square-er.

Why is there a picture of EA's servers in the OP?

Come Bloody Angel

Break off your chains

And look what I've found in the dirt.

Pale battered body

Seems she was struggling

Something is wrong with this world.

Fierce Bloody Angel

The blood is on your hands

Why did you come to this world?

Everybody turns to dust.

Everybody turns to dust.

The blood is on your hands.

The blood is on your hands!

15 fps is playable if you are not used to more (but its still far from feeling nice). I never played  anything higher than 30 (except LOL and i guess Age of Empires) until a few weeks that i got my new pc.

If you go from 60 to 15 im sure you will vomit playing a FPS (i myself feeled a bit dizzy when i played my first game on the new pc. Too many frames :< )

Assuming that thing can even get past the bios, sure.

I can play Dota at anything above 50fps, anything lower and it's painfully obvious and annoying to play.

Fucking hell, even in the 90's I couldn't play games at sub 30 (and preferred 60fps where possible) because the experience was garbage. And that was back when I had a Celeron 433+Riva TNT2 Vanta (second slowest TNT2 but only in memory intensive games)+128MB RAM. Are they high or something?

And square monitors...

Still got 2 of those (one CRT and one LCD). Lets just say that the response times compared to modern LCD is crap and there is a lot of ghosting in everything except games. And that's at 85Hz.

Well honestly you could run some AAA 4K game at 2 FPS and say it's running. No, it isn't really.

The ability to google properly is a skill of its own.

Nawhhhhhh, the majority of my memories of playing NFSMW:2005 (and my other favourite games such as Flatout 2) was at sub 20fps (this was before my C2D+G105M laptop) and all I remember is the game being great so...I'm sure 15fps is fine for some people :D

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...

I have 3, I use one for my server (You don't really need a good monitor for a server) and the other two are in storage.

It sucks that we never got Pentium M properly on the desktop.

The human eye can't see more than 14.77 FPS anyway.

I don't read the reply to my posts anymore so don't bother.

Can you tell the difference between 60Hz and 144Hz?

I can. Would this apply?
