Hi,

currently I have a problem with a PC and I don't know, how to troubleshoot it. I use my Old PC as an NVR. I don't have any kind of Display attached t this machine, so I don't really see, what is going on. But what I see is that the machine is loosing network connectivity about every 10 Minutes. My Switch logged, that the Interface get down and then up again with 10 MBit/s. And after about 5-10 Seconds the same again to 1 Gbit. I'm using the on board card, that is I219-V. The problem started about 3 days ago. I tried a different port on the switch. I tried another switch. I replaced the network cable. I updated the drivers to the latest version available.

Just one thing left: To replace the NIC.

Or do you have any ideas?

Have you looked at the Event Viewer Log (Windows) or the Syslog (Linux) to see if anything is being reported and logged during a drop-out or link-speed change?

What do you mean when you say "old", if its older than Win7 then you're likely out of luck.

Did you push any other updates before this happened?

The CPU is i7-8700 with 64GB RAM. It's currently running Windows 10.

Hm... Something about Stand-By was in the event log. I disabled everything with Stand-By. Lets see, if that was the problem.
