Yup.

 

I feel like a normal people online its awesome.

 

Thats why I romanticize online relationships so much.

Why be normal? Anyways, I'm really shy and awkward when it comes to women. I'm pretty sure I missed a lot of opportunities. Online dating did not work for me but I did meet a girl in an mmorpg and dated her. I think too much about what I'm going to say to a girl and I don't want to mess up. I usually mess up and it backfires.

Like a fucking PHONE CALL makes me anxious as hell.

 

There are people that I know online on support forums that barely can leave their house.

 

Its not that great of thing to have.

I'm the same. Anxiety runs my life. I don't know if it will ever change. I will say once I talk to a girl for a while then I will lose it. Usually takes a couple dates.

I'm the same. Anxiety runs my life. I don't know if it will ever change. I will say once I talk to a girl for a while then I will lose it. Usually takes a couple dates.

 

Yeah , I have no idea how I can improve this.

 

It stops me in my tracks every time.

 

There are good support groups and stuff you know , its more common than people think.

 

Anxiety in general is very common unfortunately.

Its not that great of thing to have.

Talking... A thing I've never been good in. No matter if it's directly in a conversation or via phone call or VOIP, I can't speak a god damn thing without it sounding awkward, weird and/or stupid. With text communication, there's a lot more time to think about what to actually say instead of when doing verbal communicating (where you have basically no time to think in advance what to say).

 

Now I am awkward and stupid on text chats as well, but not even remotely as close as when speaking. Social anxiety isn't too great of a thing to have when one needs to communicate with other people, and my minor speech impediments don't help at all.

 

First impressions also mean a lot, and I screw up every single one of them... I just end up looking awkward, weird and stupid, and after that is done, I only rarely communicate with them, if ever.

Never trust my advice. Only take any and all advice from me with a grain of salt. Just a heads up.

I avoided skype , phone calls  etc like the plague.

 

I usually was the whole call quiet with nothing to say and that made me uncomfortable and disliked you know?

 

I seem like an awesome person typing but I am much different in other situations.

Yea I was sorta the same way, but in order to improve, you will have to get out of your comfort zone sometimes.

The main reason I don't talk in VOIP applications (TeamSpeak, Skype etc.) is because my room has next to no noise isolation: even whispering can be heard to the living room (where my mother is), so yeah... Can't really talk, family censorship etc..

 

On conversations, I stay quiet most of the time, because every time I say something, it either A.) Doesn't make sense, B.) Is stupid / sounds stupid, C.) It brings an awkward silence, D.) Makes me look like an idiot, E.) Makes everyone creeped out, F.) Offends someone / some people, G.) means nothing in the conversations, or any combination of the above.

The main reason I don't talk in VOIP applications (TeamSpeak, Skype etc.) is because my room has next to no noise isolation: even whispering can be heard to the living room (where my mother is), so yeah... Can't really talk, family censorship etc..

 

On conversations, I stay quiet most of the time, because every time I say something, it either A.) Doesn't make sense, B.) Is stupid / sounds stupid, C.) It brings an awkward silence, D.) Makes me look like an idiot, E.) Makes everyone creeped out, F.) Offends someone / some people, G.) means nothing in the conversations, or any combination of the above.

Thats why you have to find people that are like you, so that they also say awkward/creepy stuff, and it's alright

This is the main reason I use push to talk on Team Speak and why streaming is nearly impossible.

when i started youtube i just locked my door and my parents are now used to me recording to they rarely bother me

 

I'm too anxious to do anything with YouTube. So I just record like CS:GO ESEA games of my own and some of the highlights.

I avoided skype , phone calls  etc like the plague.

 

I usually was the whole call quiet with nothing to say and that made me uncomfortable and disliked you know?

 

I seem like an awesome person typing but I am much different in other situations.

 

Phone calls are awkward for anyone if you have no idea what you'll be talking about. When I started my job in an ISP, getting calls was dreadful for the first few weeks.

 

If you're actually seeking out forums for social anxiety, I think that hints you might want professional help. It sounds scary, and it is at first, but their sole purpose is to help, and make you feel comfortable.
