oh right, not so fun but its what makes the job a job, i dont enjoy what i do, customer service just makes me stressed. Given that most jobs are good at that, i still dont like people telling me what to do when they have no right (customers)

the customer is always right, amirite? :P

No, no youre not. its so annoying when someone comes and asks me to match the rate of another store, lets say mine is 1.0923 and theirs is 1.0994

they then proceed to spend 20 quid which REALLY doesn't equate to a saving at all. Minimal if anything

eh but the price matching thing helps keep more customers in your door, so you gotta do it. even if it's pitiful like that.

For that kind of business # of customers is a big priority over the satisfaction of workers lol

It really is, we have to cry for business, we are a new bureau and we are here because the 3rd most busiest branch in the country is next to us, so its poaching their customers, yet i still have time to browse LTT all day lol. i dont think its working yet. we only rly get about 30 or so customers in a day.

Im a lazy fuq and the 8.30 starts kill me honestly (i rly hate mornings)

Yup ever heard of 'head down arse up'? Its the working class motto after all.

I work for my local council in their call centre, quite happy here. I have no dreams or career pursuits, I will just go wherever the world takes me. My job is not important to me, as long as I earn enough money to keep myself alive and happy that's all that matters.

I'm quite a chilled out person, as long as I don't hate the job then I wouldn't mind what I do really. What matters to me is seeing my friends, and my current job gives me every evening and weekend free to do that, and the money to travel to see them, so I'm happy :)

Blow the city hall? Nah, i'm good with, i'm not a big fan of the mayor (i voted for the opposition), but otherwise, everything around here flows well, my colleagues are great and all, but like i said before, this is a far too laid back job for me, its just repair here and there, check the server, check the incoming connections to see if nobody is watching what they shouldn't (a.k.a. porn), sit down, watch the forums, this kinda thing. I rather be on the field, doing some more demanding job, which hopefully i'll come to latter on...

Nothing that I'm willing (or permitted) to share. However I have enjoyed working in a wide verity of areas within the industry. Indeed it is fun and so are the benefits the go with it (at this level). One can never have enough money, power and knowledge :x
