Well, I am only 14, but on the internet, on sites like freelancer.com, you can be any age you want to be ;)

Although I have only been paid about $1.5k from it on the year I have worked for people, it helps buy presents for people and buy generally cool stuff online.

Not to shit in your cereal but the those sites usually never pay what the work is actually worth. They rely on the fact that it gets filled by those that work from economically weaker countries. It's so bad that in some cases one could actually earn more flipping burgers on graveyard/bank holiday shifts.

Though I suppose that at least you're picking up experience.

Yep, I've been there for a year, that is what happens everywhere with the easy jobs, thankfully, those that require PHP, MySQL and Javascript knowledge are quite easily taken by people who have had over 50 reviews on it like me.

At the moment, i work in the insurance industry.

I do have a police-related degree and would like to combine the 2 after i have done my Cii (insurance chartered status) and move on to be a fraud investigator.

Alternatively though, i would prefer to become self-employed and do something i love, like YouTube or even run my own business. But with the state of YouTube and the fact it is so hard for new people to get into it, i'm not sure it's the best option.

As well as youtube is just a pile of ass at the moment.

Btw, well done for studying, i hate education, and im one of those idiots who think theyre smart but im actually fucking retarded. but i never got on with assignments, and i decided to opt out of university to save myself the embarrassment of being a failed dropout

Having issues with a Corsair AIO? Possible fix here:

Spoiler

Are you getting weird fan behavior, speed fluctuations, and/or other issues with Link?

Are you running AIDA64, HWinfo, CAM, or HWmonitor? (ASUS suite & other monitoring software often have the same issue.)

Corsair Link has problems with some monitoring software so you may have to change some settings to get them to work smoothly.

-For AIDA64: First make sure you have the newest update installed, then, go to Preferences>Stability and make sure the "Corsair Link sensor support" box is checked and make sure the "Asetek LC sensor support" box is UNchecked.

-For HWinfo: manually disable all monitoring of the AIO sensors/components.

-For others: Disable any monitoring of Corsair AIO sensors.

That should fix the fan issue for some Corsair AIOs (H80i GT/v2, H110i GTX/H115i, H100i GTX and others made by Asetek). The problem is bad coding in Link that fights for AIO control with other programs. You can test if this worked by setting the fan speed in Link to 100%, if it doesn't fluctuate you are set and can change the curve to whatever. If that doesn't work or you're still having other issues then you probably still have a monitoring software interfering with the AIO/Link communications, find what it is and disable it.

I work at a small 2 tech Computer Store in Corvallis, OR called Bellevue Computers. Basically we're the only place in the area that has ANY Computer Parts that wouldn't be found at an office max. You'd have to drive an hour to the nearest Best Buy to get any of what we stock and even then not all of it. It would take another 30min drive past that to get to Fry's to finally find a place with more options then we have. I'm overworked, underpaid and can't find a better job within 50 Miles of me...

Well luckily I don't have to deal with any of the kids at all. There are a couple of 10th or 11th grade high schoolers that help the custodians as a summer job and one of them is insanely immature to the point that no one wants to work with them voluntarily.
