[must see] adventures with my mobo

so i woke up today and i thought "ye ill clean my pc today, ill change thermalpaste etc"

 

i took the air cooler i had cleaned the fans and the cooler itself. Put the CPU (6600k) back on the motherboard and i accidentally broke a pin on the socket.

I tried to push it down a bit so it can return to its original state after that i took the compressed air can i had and started spraying the case to remove as much dust as possible

the can looked like this

and the plastic thing in front of the can flew directly in the pins of the socket!!!

Why was the CPU not in the socket while you were cleaning your PC? o.O

use needle or pin to clean it out

someone in the area claims that he can fix that..if he tries should i put the cpu back in or is there apossiblity that the cpu can get scratched?

 

should i buy new mobostraight away?

Well you can either learn from other's stupidity, or your own. Just take your time with some small pliers, don't rush and don't use lots of force when you get frustrated.
