Uhm, what?

That is 230$ I can use on audio, well not really since that isn't enough, BUT it is 230$ I can save up for better gear. :D

I guess someone will buy it....

Before you buy amp and dac.  My thoughts on the M50x  Ultimate Ears Reference monitor review I might have a thing for audio...

Anyone know if this thing is really happening. This would just be so great for the games I play but I don't want to send $200 to a company that I have no idea if they are going to actually send me a product.

Looks cool but who the heck would spend $230 on a mouse. I got a Corsair m65 on sale from NCIX for $50 and It looks nicer and is probably just as good software wise.

Wouldn't that make it worth more than your entire computer + mouse?

nah, my desktop was closer to 2000€ when it was brand new, but who cares a DAC would last longer than my desktop.

When your GPU was released, Obama hadn't been reelected yet.

I'd love a mouse like this so that most of normal tasks (browsing, copy & paste, volume adjustment etc.) can be done with one hand.

Sometimes I become so lazy that lifting my other arm to the keyboard is hardxD

But with that price tag it better be damn durable and last 3 years+

I have had some fantastic mice (quite pricey too) but they don't last

FWIW, I just received this mouse yesterday and played around with it in some Rainbow Six Siege last night.  Here's what I found as compared to my personal Gold Standard the Logitech G502:

  • It's unfortunate the scroll wheel doesn't have a left/right like Logitech's mice do.  I have those clicks bound to keystrokes for use in-game.
  • The buttons on the upper left, typically what you'd use to adjust DPI, are too far for my short fingers to actuate comfortably.  I can reach the bottom one, but the top one requires re-positioning my hand a bit.  No bueno.  FWIW I never adjust DPI on the fly; again I just use those buttons as keystrokes for in-game activities.
  • It's got a decent shape and feels OK in the hand.
  • The right side tertiary buttons are too clumsy for me to use.  Or I'm too clumsy to use them.  My middle finger doesn't have the dexterity to actuate either of those buttons, so they're a waste, unfortunately.  They'd be really useful otherwise.
  • The left side tertiary buttons are perfect.  There are actually three of them, because the one on the top of the mouse is actually a rocker: forward and back.  You can assign different functions to each direction.  And my index finger has no issues whatsoever with actuating them.
  • The two thumb buttons on the side are fine.  Nothing to complain about nor write home about.
  • The side-to-side rocking is... cute.  I tried to set that up for leaning in R6S and it, uh, kinda worked.  Sorta.  But not really.  So I just locked the mouse in place with the other adapters that came with it.

Seems like I'm down on the mouse, but I'm going to keep giving it a chance.  The buttons are useful in FPS gaming, assuming I can train my fingers to actuate them.  Failing that, it'll end up in "the pile" of failed mousies, and I'll go back to the G502.
