Buy some "cat guard" and put it on top of the case. It's like spikey plastic. It won't hurt the cat but it will be unplesent to stand/sit/lay on so he will learn to stop jumping there. Maybe some lemon essential oil too (they hate the smell).

Tin foil, cats hate the sound it makes, trust me I have two cats at my house and when we need to cat-proof something, tinfoil is our first (and usually last) resort. Just bend it into a pyramid shape /\ and tape it to the top, it shouldn't interfere with airflow and will look solid so your beast will not jump on top and shed the hell that is cat fur into your computer.
