I don't see what the big deal is... Its a goddamn FPS! Just add some new weapons and new maps, and you've got yourself a new game. Are you going to say that the BF series is any different? Wow... a FPS about war... how original is that?

COD, BF, CS... they are all in the same bag.

Then I went to PC. Boy...the differences are night and day with those shit consoles.

The CoD hype train forced some publishers this gen to emulate the "pew-pew, short attention span, die, respawn, shoot again!!!" formula hoping to have the same success or cut into the piece of the CoD pie.  EA emulating (or tried to but failed) the formula with the last Medal of Honor games is a good example.  Others include multiplayer being shoehorned into otherwise great single player games (ME3, Bioshock 2, Arkham Origins just to name a few).

 

Aside from that, I don't see how this is any different than Madden selling well year-after-year with minimal updates.  It doesn't mean it's any good. 

 

I personally just ignore these games that gets rehashed year after year.  There are still great games still being made out there that doesn't follow the same rehashed formula.

its all according to ACTIVISION. for allwe know they could have fabricated it. remember few months ago Creative Assembly said that ROME 2 will be the most graphically advanced Total Wat game they ahve ever made. ROME 2 has worse graphics than SHOGUN 2. Activision could be fabricating it to entice young impressionable children in to thinking its the best game ever.

I don't get it, why must they reuse all the time? I don't care if they do it for a reason like Call of Duty: Zombies... but not if they are going to keep making the same game over and over. Look at Crysis, They did a wonderful job changing it up and making it constantly better (and more demanding) All Call of Dooty can do is say they need 6GB of ram when it really only needs 4GB. I almost bought this believe it or not. I decided to play Just Cause 2 multiplayer instead
