1080 Ti tradeup program. Have they ever allowed 2 for 1?

Remixt

I'm curious about Nvidia's leak regarding the trade up program. Have they ever done this before? If so did they take 3rd party graphics cards, and could you trade in two older cards for a single new one?

I've never heard of this. Are you referring to EVGA's step up program?

No, Nvidia leaked a step up program for 980 Ti owners for the 1080 Ti. Its on the LTT news forum.

980Ti is old and crappy next to a 1080Ti how is that trolling? go sort your sensitivity out, too much emotions over a GPU.

You get 200 bucks for a 980ti.

First access to a 1080ti if you have one registered.

What else?

So for two could I get 400 then? And does the type of 980ti I have any extra value?

Be prepared that unless you have an Nvidia 980ti you probably won't be able to trade in.

But if you have your cards registered you should be able to pre order a 1080ti.

We won't know what they agreed on until CES.
