Nvidia GTX 1080Ti confirmed

PCWorld manage to get a screenshot of a job posting by Nvidia. In it, the reveals things about Club GeForce, GeForce Experience 3.0 and GTX1080Ti along with Club GeForce Elite.

I hate how people use the term bottleneck now...

Its almost like there are no poorly gpu optimized games, and that bottlenecking is completely dynamic to the use-case.

 

Also... seriously... why is ANYONE surprised there's going to be a 1080ti... And why are people feeling it'll be different from the titan x(p)? It's just going to be a cut down version of the xp with allowance for custom pcb from board partners. Which means cheaper, and often virtually the same performance under most circumstances.

6700K and Titan XP SLI won't bottleneck in some games and will in others...

I bought two 980Ti Superclocked cards from EVGA on their launch. 

Not a chance in hell I'm touching a 1080Ti unless it comes in the same price; which we know won't happen. The 1080 launched at a higher price than my older cards did on their launch.

Fingers crossed VEGA 10 and 11 are very good competition.

That does not make it obsolete. Obsolete infers that it is no longer useful. It is older now. It is not as good as the top of the line card but still competes with a 1070.
