Gigabyte and Biostar Z270 motherboards

Adding to the list of Z270 motherboards for Kaby Lake, this time from Gigabyte and Biostar. Starting with Gigabyte's Z270 motherboards, we have the Aorus Line up. The Aorus was first introduced with their laptops and now they have continue to use the name with their boards. The Aorus is most likely Gigabyte's version to Asus ROG. No official specs from Gigabyte.

Next up is Biostar with their Racing Z270 Racing series. Some of the features found on their boards are, M.2 cooling where a thermal solution such as thermal pad and heatsink can be installed on to a M.2 drive to aid in cooling, and Intel X550 10Gigabit lan. Not many boards have 10GbE lane, expect for those crazy expensive workstation grade ones. For Biostar to add that in a mainstream board, that's a plus. Both Gigabyte and Biostar boards will have RGB LED, with Biostar having some exclusive features like Vivid LED Armor and 5050 LED Fun Zone.

i wish Gigabyte made GPUs matching their boards. BUt the only way you can color match their GAMING series boards is to buy a fucking ASUS Turbo maxwell card (puke)

Yeah all the turbos i've seen are hideous.

I understand the distaste for so many LED's but that's one thing that RGB led's help with. Pair RGB with an all white or black shrouded mobo and you're pretty much set for any GPU.

The 7700k has 16 lines itself, plus an extra 24 lanes on the PCH if it's using z270 (z170 has 20 lanes).

What's up with the DIMM slots?

AMD had better come hard with Zen, or I might just go with Intel again...

Just noticed something. They are copying the design of the Asus X99 Deluxe where the one of the slots is missing. Therefore no 4 way GPU which seems to be a waste if  they do have a PLX

Never thought BioStar would be the one with non-vomit inducing aesthetics when I looked at the thread title.

Gigabyte wtf r u doing

It's wrong

stahp

Edit: Got to love the 6 full size PCIe slots on the BioStar one

But is that E-ATX? If yes, then ew

In case the moderators do not ban me as requested, this is a notice that I have left and am not coming back.
