Single slot HIS RX 460 (4GB) revealed

So yeah, another humble appearance in the graphics card market, while it isn't a low profile card it single slot card at least and obviously it doesn't have an additional power connector.

Here comes the HIS RX 460 Slim-iCooler OC

 

Featuring:

  • RX 460 GPU
  • 1090 MHz Base clock
  • 1220 MHz "Turbo boost" clock
  • 4 GB of GDDR5 with an effective speed 7 GHz
  • "0 dB mode" at up to 60 ºC

The card will use a PCI-e 3.0 x8 bus and will consist on a nice white shroud with a black lion and a geometrical pattern around the fan which IMO looks quite nice.

Cool. Though would've been awesome to see higher models how cooling would be with single slot air cooler design :D

IMO, the lion drawing looks really bad. It looks like someone fooled around in AutoCAD for several minutes and thought "Hey, this looks cool. Kinda like a lion. Let's make it our logo." 

 

Fortunately, it looks like you can easily unscrew the shroud and paint it yourself. And the shroud looks really nice.

i like it for the same reson i like the Turbo GTX 970, the white looks amazing

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

I think I've seen that but it's like 300 bucks for performance about on par with the 1050. But up until this new cards that was one of the best options yes.
