Stock DCII cooler or have you moved to something more exotic. 180mV is higher than I dare go on the DCII lack of memory heatsinks and all..

kraken G10 Corsair H50. yeah, I'm not going 24/7 with those clocks. even with side fans blowing on the card the memory would get toasty/roasty.

I'm kind of shocked you have not stuck ram heatsinks on those chips. (the idea of needing to use thermal adhesive is less than pleasant but I would imagine that memory failure would be even less so.

System CPU : Ryzen 9 5950 doing whatever PBO lets it. Motherboard : Asus B550 Wifi II RAM 80GB 3600 CL 18 2x 32GB 2x 8GB GPUs Vega 56 & Tesla M40 Corsair 4000D Storage: many and varied small (512GB-1TB) SSD + 5TB WD Green PSU 1000W EVGA GOLD

You can trust me, I'm from the Internet.

I'm not worried, as I don't overclock my memory for 24/7 use. My ram chips are getting much cooler airflow on them now than they were with the DCU2 cooler, but It's something I'm considering for long term use.

Are you sure your CPU isn't overclocked?  I've got 2 7950 Boosts as well but on a 3570K @ 4.4GHz and I have roughly the same score as you.

air. i don't think you can get blocks for them yet. if that gigbyte cooler is as good as the last one then it could keep 2 970 cool with a single cooler :P

i don't doubt it. 600W cooling power is nuts. although I was thinking in my head of an AIO, but yeah the GB cooler is pretty extreme.

The Kraken G10 fits on the Gigabyte gaming even with the back plate on. I dont see any reason to go to AIO though. The stock cooler keeps the temps very low.

Actually the Gigabyte 970 one is using the regular WF3 cooler while the 980 is the only one advertised as the 600W cooler.  The 970 also uses slightly smaller heatpipes.

So i just ran Valley with my card at stock, and noticed how much of the CPU was being used. Does this mean a 'better/faster' CPU will give better scores?

I've tested this with my 3570k from 4.2 to 4.6 Ghz, and the scores were within margin of error with each test. I'm sure I could keep downclocking and still see little difference up until a core was hitting 100%.
