Unigine Valley Benchmark Scores Thread + SUPERPOSITION ***Over 1000 Submissions!***

Jumper118

I hope so. I cant find any other 970 Valley scores to compare. All the reviews have it with AA off and mine is line with those scores when i run it at those settings. The score with AA off is around 4300 to 4500 with the cards OC'd.

http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/graphics/2014/09/19/nvidia-geforce-gtx-970-review/10

The problem is to really know how they perform would mean to use MFAA, which I don´t think you can right now. MFAA should dramatically improve the benchmark scores.

Intel i7 7820X (delidded) @ 4.9GHz - MSI X299 M7 ACK + EKWB Fullcover Block - G.Skill Trident Z 32GB @ 3466MHz - nVidia Titan Xp + EKWB Fullcover Block @ 2.1GHz - Samsung 960Pro 2x - WDD Blue 2TB - Seasonic 750W Platinum - modded Corsair 600C - Hardtubed Custom Watercooling

Curious, does GPU-Z display the correct 64 ROP's for your cards? It shows 32 for mine but i checked reviews and some show 64 correctly.

Edit: Searched for your post on saw that it is displaying 32 for you as well. Just making sure it is software lol

You can't be serious.  Hyperthreading is a market joke?

I will have to check this but GPU-Z doesn´t show me the correct chip yet and there are some information missing. I hope this gets updated real soon :) .

And I am not happy with EVGA´s Precision X right now... somehting seems to be buggy. Because my OC´s are saved as profiles but never active when I boot the PC. I will switch to Afterburner maybe.

AB has been buggy for me using the 970. It will downclock my card to 504 core and i have to exit it to reset my clocks. I think all the software is buggy atm. Valley is showing higher clocks as well. GPU-Z Valley and AB all report different clocks for me lol

Yeah usually Valley shows more clock speed for nVidia cards than they really have. But I see differences in PX to GPU-Y as well... I guess we will have to wait a few days more for new releases haha ;) .

Anyways I hope we will see MFAA as option for the Maxwell cards in benchmark programs eventually. Otherwise I will lean more towards game benchmarks since I´ll be able to make full use of all the features. I tried DSR alreday in Diablo 3 last night with my 2nd monitor which is a 24" 1080p (my first monitor is a Samsung 28" 4K). It doesn´t look as good as 4k since it is still 1080p but man what an improvement!

With GeForce Expirience. I optimized the game over it and started D3 out of it.

How does DSR look and perform ? I am really into this as I am real stickler for high quality AA.

Once i put a Kraken G10 on it and AIO it was able to OC decently. On the reference cooler it was horrible.:P

bah the card I hit 2906 on was a reference. That core was golden ... the memory on it was a dud. it died before I could put a g10 on it. Asus replaced it with the DCII I have now, not as solid an overclocker but I don't hear the fan through my headphones while gaming so Ill call it a draw.

thing is, the memory voltage is actually tied to core voltage with Hawaii. at stock core voltage I can't overclock my memory past 1375.

My core voltage was far from stock on my first 290 ~130mV boost on my bravest attempts

Also gratz on the 290 single card crown  :D

Stock DCII cooler or have you moved to something more exotic. 180mV is higher than I dare go on the DCII lack of memory heatsinks and all..
