Posted October 23, 2013 Author Am I seeing this right? You have Noctua fans strapped to you GPU? That's... something... Trust me, I'm (going to be) an engineer Yea... silent and lower temps than with the stock Fans Everything is PWM Controlled by CPU and GPU temps The HDD is in a bitumenbox. You can hear your own blood stream through your ears when sitting next to the rig If it's on full load, the Fans dont reach 1000RPM. Its really quiet

Posted April 20, 2014 Author Thx I had the Noctuas from my previous build, but the 12 (9x rad & 3 case) Noctuas were ~250 C$ I think they are the best fans on rads and when pwm controlled, they can spin @ 300rpm without any sound perfect for my silent system =) very very silent, almost unaudible
 Posted April 21, 2014 @ did you experience any bottlenecks with the i7 950 + r9 290? i'm in the process of my build refresh with a i7 965EE and i'm wondering if something like a 290 would bottleneck it. i7-4790k | Asus Z97i-Plus | Kingston HyperX Fury 16gb | MX100 256gb | Seidon 120XL | Silverstone SFX 600w Gold | Node 304 White G3258 | Asus Z97i-Plus | Kingston HyperX Fury 16gb | 4 x 3TB WD Reds | Seidon 120XL | Silverstone SFX 600w Gold | Node 304 Black i7-965EE | Rampage II Extreme | Kingston HyperX Fury 16gb | CM M2 700w | Sapphire Nitro 380 4GB
 Posted April 21, 2014 Author Not if you play on high detail on high resolution. If you play 1080p bf4,the CPU might limit on hard multi-player online games. Usually I have max performance and the i7 does its job well :-)

Posted May 6, 2014 Well..... did something silly Haha, love it, wish you did a better cable management job on those fans those. A splitter PCB with custom wiring could work wonders for that.
