MY PC IS READY.

 

I'm really excited about the cross platform play, I have some friends that I'm sure will get this on Xbone even though they have gaming quality PCs.

Those limits appear to be based on your monitor. Saw a video from someone with a 144hz monitor and it was 40-something (I think), 75, unlimited.

I didn't either and so I bought Forza Horizon 3. So far I've downloaded the full 49GB game three times and it's failed each time resulting in me having to start again. I think It's safe to say I'll never buy anything off UWP again.

I'm not sure It's UWP's fault.

 

Try to troubleshoot it.

 

And by the way, if you're worried about it working in the future, try looking at a free app you might like and try to download it. If it works then the issue was with Forza Horizon 3.

is your windows and gpu driver up to date. mine only failed to load due to GPU drivers being old. My failed at the optimization portion at 75%

Yep and loving in on xbox one. it does legitimately look amazing, the only points it looks shit is when you're on top a hill able to see 20km away and no long distance texturing. and having zero frame rate issues too. 

House mate bought it and I'm loving it. and it does look legitimately Australian environments especially the outback sections, can't say anything about the rain forested sections as they're all east coast and i'm about 4000km from an actual rain forest lol

peope are reporting stutters and with some investigations, it was found that the game's files are all encrypted with AES256 cypher

The game does look really nice....too bad it doesn't seem any more special than any other racing game to warrant spending $60.

Everything is as up to date as can be.

I'm not really sure... I have Halo 5 Forge working an Forza Motorsport 6 worked flawlessly.

I didn't see anywhere in the source them mentioning DX12, also looking at the page for the game in the Windows store they only says DX11 as a requirement.

cross platform multiplayer available, ie can i play on pc with friends on xbone? also any reports on how it runs at 4k with a single 1080?

cross platform play works, I did it. and I can get 50 FPS at 3440x1440 at about medium settings, I now run it on vsync with a 60 fps target and every thing on dynamic. (gives me a smoother experience)

would love to play Forza but i dont have $60 + dlc to spend on a fucking game, also because microsoft they want you on the latest drivers before allowing you to run it and they arent always the best... i want to go back to 359.06 because no other drivers have allowed me to overclock more and have had so little problems... 36x.xx drivers were garbage and the 37x.xx are ok and what im on now but they dont allow me to push my 970 as far...

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

i dont really use the xbox app thing, do your friends just show up like they do if you were also on an xbox?

It's holding up quite well on my Fury at 3440*1440 maxed out with an average of 40-50fps so I'd imagine you would come pretty close to 60fps at 4k.

what headache? i installed it , even swapped mobo and cpu and never had a single issue (it was still activated and had no problem starting , it just booted up normal)  , the anniversary update was butter smooth and improved alot of things  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
